Enjoy great food including wood-fire brick oven pizzas and fine wines all in a classy atmosphere located in the home of the Mountain State Forest Festival! We were seated in a room away from the bar and business lunch crowd. Our server Casey was very hospitable, efficient and knowledgeable about the menu.
We ordered the she crab soup, which was excellent, and I also enjoyed a salad of mixed greens, grilled pears and blue cheese crumbles with blue cheese dressing. The owner stopped by to talk with us and offered that the chef has 26 years experience and came from Charleston, SC - no wonder the soup was so good!.

This is honestly just sad. I’ve eaten here before and absolutely loved it. That was about two year ago though. Burger and bun on burger was so burnt I could smell it through the container. The scallops we’re literally the size of a water bottle cap. And the fries were no where near being done the insides were crunchy and the outside was soggy. If you’re gonna over charge on your menu at least make sure the food is edible.

Was looking for a good place for my family and this was certainly not it. The Alfredo was terrible ( very bland). Half the menu was unavailable. The server didn’t seem to know the menu at all and we had to ask for food that was supposed to be served with our meal. The bread we received tasted like a burnt grill and my tuna app was half a normal portion. My kids love Alfredo and I make it from scratch but Prego definitely has this place beat. Aside from a beautiful setting it was not at all worth the price from taste to portions. None of my children ate!! The manager did remove 1 of the 5 plates

Hands down 5 stars. Rated this $$ for pricing because most entrees are in the $20-something range, but if you're having wine (why not?) or one of their titillating cocktails, you'll be in the $$$ range. Regarding other reviews, they had near-capacity diners on a Wednesday night, and our server, Taylor, was outstanding! Not only was she helpful, attentive, and personable, but she was cute as a button! I just wanted to give her a hug!!!
Now, to the food. I had the scallops, which were seared and flavorful. One member of our party had the steak medallions which were cooked as ordered

We stopped in on our way home and aren't familiar with the area, but it looked nice on Google so we checked it out. Like they say in other reviews, I don't know why it was so empty during prime dining time, but we were happy to get seated immediately. We ordered a nice variety so we could make an educated decision on the quality of the food. Our order was out quick and everything was delicious! It is a beautiful restaurant, the food is presented well, and our waiter Robert did a great job taking care of us. They have a huge wine selection which we did not delve into during this family

Stopped in for a "snort" of wine... They've a great list, but mostly it's by the bottle, so opted for a glass from their pretty wide Bourbon selection. A bit pricey, but it was a vacation, so.... Anyway, they have food too, and while we didn't partake, it looked appetizing whizzing by to other tables! Would def visit again.

Food was very good, I had the seafood cannelloni my husband and the Alfredo we got 2 apps calamari and cheese plates and 2 deserts! Only reason it’s not of 5 is they forgot something ( but is making it right and the dessert portion is very tiny but other than that I’d order again! Girls were also nice!

A nice place with a good menu and very friendly staff. Pleasant surprise in Clarksburg. Comfortable booths and a nice seating arrangement in front of a gas fireplace. House wines were better than norm. One star less than five due to serving portions. The cod I had, over risotto with vegetables, was a bit too well done, and the serving was the size of a credit card, for $22. The rest of our group of four enjoyed their meals. The breast of duck was a hit. I would go back.

First time here and we were very pleased. Crab cakes were 99% crab meat and the accompanying sriracha remoulade had just the right amount of heat. The rib eye steak was tender and delicious. Side veggie was a wilted spinach with grilled grape tomatoes with a warm bacon dressing-also delicious. The risotto was creamy but a little disappointing with not a lot of flavor. The baked potato was pretty standard and needed to be dressed up a little more. Other than the risotto and potato the meal was wonderful and we would definitely return.

The portions are ridiculously small....there fine dining portions in a decidedly not fine dining establishment or area.....food was not worth the price....I got the prosciutto wrapped trout (not local ...what?) and it was so small and it tasted of the prosciutto and not trout..I think there was more prosciutto than trout.....$28 dollars...what? for that ? in Elkins WV? would not go again...

I just had the most disappointing meal I have ever had in Elkins. I ordered the crab cake sandwich from the brunch menu. It had zero flavor, like maybe a little salt or pepper went in it, but once the small patty went on the too large bun, it tasted like a bread sandwich. It was served with 3 roma tomato slices, 2 small pieces of lettuce, and 2 thin rings of red onion. I took one bite and sent it back. Our server apologized and asked if i wanted anything else, but I declined. I expected the $14 sad sandwich to be taken off my check, but the manager said that the best they could do was give me a

I met family here the Friday following Thanksgiving and plan to make this a tradition. Our party of 6 had a great time. We called ahead to see if we needed a reservation, it was recommended due to the WV game, which was a great atmosphere enhancer! We shared 3 apps including the crab dip (yum), buffalo dip (surprisingly the favorite) and the calamari. My hubs and I shared the Greek pizza and 2 bottles of wine (oops). The wine list is the best I have seen in this area.
My son loved the deep fried Philly - it looked amazing! Our table was in the perfect location close to the fireplace and

After a long day in wv trying to find real food with little success we happened
upon Elkins.. it was such a relief to find a restaurant that used local food and cooked from scratch. I had the stroganoff which was really good! The meat was cooked well and I liked the sauce. We split a tiramisu which was also pretty good. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. I highly recommend it. Only downside was that the price point was a little more than I wanted to spend.

I had really hoped I would enjoy this restaurant. After following their Facebook page for a while, I finally had an opportunity to visit. A nice restaurant in the Elkins-area is much-needed and from all appearances, Vintage was going to fit the bill. Impressive decor, well-stocked and attractive bar, welcoming fireplace and a impressive wine cellar all matched my expectations. But a restaurant is for dining and that's where it all fell apart. While friendly service, it was very slow both in terms of wait staff and meal service. The menu for Sunday brunch offered ample options; limited but

For years we've dreaded staying the night in Elkins. After a long day of fishing we return to the hotel and struggle to find a decent place to eat. Oftentimes, the best option was a sandwich at Sheetz. Fortunately, Vintage opened and has become the best place to eat in Elkins. Yes, I do understand that's not a huge feat. Meanwhile, Vintage is good enough to survive in any city.
Vintage is a gem in Elkins. It offers solid service, an inviting atmosphere, great food, a full bar and dining area. The kitchen stays open until at least 10pm even during the week and later on Friday and Saturday

Oh, Vintage. I really wanted to like you. I really, really, really did. *sigh*
Went to Vintage last evening with a group of friends. We had great wine, and great food, in a cool, hip, and cozy environment...but the service was sub par. The cheese platter came without crackers or bread. The server forgot the portabello fries. A two hour dinner with friends stretched to 3 hours because our server ignored us. We had to track her down to get refills and finally the check. It was very frustrating because she seemed so nice. But totally untrained and no one was keeping tabs on her...
