Dr. Lawlor graduated from Dalhousie University and is a fellow with the International College of Oral Implantologists. He is proud to be named among America's Top Dentists in 2016, 2017 and 2018 and to bring his expertise in family and cosmetic dental services to his home state of Maine.
Dr. Lawlor belongs to the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists and has been specifically trained in cosmetic dentistry. The American Dental Association does not issue special certifications or licenses indicating which dentists are cosmetic dentists and which are not. The dentist you go to for twice-yearly check-ups is probably not going to be the same dentist you go to for cosmetic enhancement.

Dr. Lawlor and his staff are my super heroes! Two days to a cruise and I needed an emergency visit. They went above and beyond to make sure I was seen in time and to fix my tooth before the cruise. Everyone was amazing, courteous and welcoming! I would recommend Maine Dentistry to anyone! They encapsulate what a dentist visit should be. Thank you Dr. Lawlor and staff!

After moving to the area and having to find a dentist to match the calibre of the one I'd had elsewhere, I found Maine Dentistry in Gray. I was nervous to go to a new dentist, having some bad experiences in the past (as everyone probably has), but after coming here for about a year, all my concern is gone. The dentist and every single employee I've dealt with is kind and very knowledgeable. I'd recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Excellent experience having some old fillings replaced with Dr. Lawlor and team. Very professional, explained everything in detail and kind. The administrative staff were super helpful figuring out insurance and billing Facility is nicely kept, clean and they have TVs to watch during cleanings. I don’t love going to the dentist but they make my experience as good as it gets !

Carolyn is super friendly and great at what she does. She makes you feel comfortable and relaxed when clearly going to the dentist Is not your favorite. Shes great at multitasking and getting the job done. She's the type of person you only see 2 times a year, but feel like you've been friends forever.
The office staff are all great too, so friendly and welcoming. And of course the cookies are a real thing. It's not made up. They are there and their delicious. ;) the whole building is very beautiful and clean.

Thirty years ago, a good whack in the mouth with a field hockey stick caused my two top front teeth to die. I was left with yellowish brown teeth and subjected to root canals. I lived with a smile that embarrassed me for a long time and the only thing that I could afford was internal bleaching which was only moderately effective.

I've always disliked going to the dentist but this office is wonderful from the front office staff to the hygienists and Dentist too. They all go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and at ease. I also love the fact that there is a mini fridge in the waiting room with bottled water, as well as fresh coffee and snacks when you arrive. Then, if that's not enough, there are warm cookies at checkout!
