Gino is wonderful, makes you feel like you're visiting his home. The food and presentation was even better. I had the cavatelle and my friend had the branzino,, both were delicious. I will definitely be back to try more! Thanks Gino! See you soon 😊

Very friendly staff, prices seem reasonable although proportional to smaller than typical sizes. Some items we ordered were pretty good but the chicken parm notably lacked flavor.

Like a trip to Italy. Wonderful authentic Italian dishes, generous portions, and good prices. The owners who run the restaurant are warm and fun. There is free parking in the back. It was the perfect place for friends from the office. There were couples and babies as well. Something for everyone.

We finally found a restaurant that has all three key components to rate this eatery as a fabulous Italian Restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and inviting with soft Italian music, the service was superb and the food was outrageously delicious!

I had passed by this restaurant for years and finally had a chance to try it out on a quiet Monday night. I was incredibly impressed. If you are looking for authentic Italian food with great portions and high quality meats, pastas and vegetables, Trullo D'Oro should be in your restaurant rotation.

I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Gino and he is a great host and even after many years at this location, he is very hands-on and takes tremendous pride in his restaurant.

Better late than never for us. Don't hesitate to go and try for yourself.

The food is absolutely delicious! Everything we ordered was great, we had the cesear salad, artichoke, french fries, steak, pasta "carbonara", mushroom risotto, and a special lemon chicken. One thing was better than the other. We even had dessert which was delicious! The staff was also very friendly and really catered to us. They set up a special table for us outside.

4 of us had dinner here for the first time last night (2 couples). The restaurant wasn't very crowded and that's unusual now for a Saturday evening, esp because our reservation was for 6:30. I was crossing my fingers because I picked Trullo D'Oro. We all started with a glass of wine and then checked out the menu. Our appetizers were very good and we were looking forward to the main courses. Fantastic is an understatement, each person's dinner was fabulous. What I liked the most is the sauces were very subtle and didn't overpower the fresh meat or fish. If the food is good

Truly authentic—Gino and Maria warmly welcome their guests making you feel at home in their charming and comfortable restaurant. We celebrated my sister's 65th birthday at the restaurant. My family has visited several times previously. Service is excellent! Gino, personally goes over the menu with you, and his specials. He cooks the meals himself and does so superbly. He brought out a complementary platter of Burrata cheese served with golden peppers and the most delicious imported provolone that I've ever tasted. We shared multiple appetizers, including baked-clams, stuffed-artichoke, Caesar

This place was a find!! First time here, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Gino, the owner, came over to say hello, and our waiter, Paulo was wonderful.
Now the food: We shared a stuffed artichoke and some fried cheese to start, and had the lamb chop special for dinner.
Best stuffed artichoke I ever had! The cheese was well seasoned and crispy, and the lamb was tender, juicy and scrumptious.
I think I will become a regular here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Honestly the worst experience I have ever had dining in a restaurant. I walked into the restaurant and my husband and I sat down, they didn't even offer us any menus and we had to ask for it. The waiter proceeded to ask us what we wanted to drink without even giving us a menu to choose from. We asked him to give us the wine menu and he gave us the "bottles" menu while others around us were ordering some other drinks. Then we had to additionally ask for the food menu after asking for the drink menu. We placed our order, my husband ordered the Bolognese and I ordered another pasta

So we're sitting here since 12:40 , and its 2:30 and still no entree. They dont seem be able to handle a large group of 16. Theres another large group but still. The restaurant is empty otherwise. My chicken francese was ok. Dessert was served not the most aesthetically. Decor is pretty, decorated for the holidays but its turned out to be 2 1/2 lunch on a workday.

He is very hands on In his restaurant. He let us know what the daily specials were & recommended we try the Cannelloni (which is a meat stuffed Manicotti) which I'm glad we tried it was delicious.
We started off with the Caesar Salad which is served on a cold plate & dressing was perfect!
The Minestrone Soup was a bowl of fresh veggies & perfect for a cold night. For Dinner we had the Chicken

Trullo D'Oro is a nice mix of old and new in an Italian restaurant. The decor is clean and new, but with traces back to a classic. The owner hugs that line of friendly and attentive versus hovering very well and really makes you feel welcome.

The menu is not huge. Some places have everything on the menu and doesn't make any of them well. Not here. The menu hits the highlights and does them well.

For appetizers we had the baked clams, the brushetta and the stuffed and fried zucchini flowers - a special. All were excellent. I don't usually find brushetta to be a big deal, but here

Actually a 3.5. on a Sunday night with tomorrow a holiday, we came here bc Chris and Tony's of Syosset was packed. Trullo had one table of 5 people when we walked in. Despite it being so quiet, table service was pretty slow. Also, empty plates were left despite bus boys coming over to refill our water. Have had Trullo take out, this being first experience eating in. Mixed green salad was excellent mix of greens, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, orange pieces, etc. The portobello appetizer was OK. Paparadelle bolognese was super small, like a child's portion or appetizer and a total rip for $18! We had
