The hotel had the almost perfect location for us. The room was small, but clean and temperature was comfortable. One thing I couldn't understand was why the closet was so high. The coat rack was almost 7 ft. Off the floor. We only interacted was the staff at the front desk, who were very friendly, because we didn't see anyone else. The price was very reasonable for a NYC hotel. I will put this hotel on my list for the next time I am in the City.

Edge Hotel is a basic property uptown (168 St. & Amsterdam in Washington Heights). It's a smart choice if you need easy access to NY Presbyterian Hospital (just one block away), or if you're visiting people in the area and want your own private spot to retreat to. However, if you're a tourist planning to explore NYC, I'd highly recommend staying in midtown or downtown, and not in this area (about 7 miles north of midtown).
The rooms are cozy (i.e. - tiny), but the bathrooms are modern and comfortable. The rooms feature an AC unit and a humidifier (nice touch!). The hotel

I'm updating my previous 5-star review for the following reasons:
I work at Columbia Medical which is a short <10-min walk from The Edge which is SOO convenient, and have had to stay in this hotel several times before---once when I was visiting NYC while interviewing for my current job down the street, once when I got the job and came back to look for apartments, once when there was a huge blizzard while I was at work and it was simpler to get a nearby room than travel during the blizzard, and then now, this recent visit due to renovations happening at my apt. Now, in all the times I've been to

Had to sleep in a room with a leaky ceiling. I called and waited 24 hours for someone to fix it. By morning time the bathroom was unusable. Called to get my money back and just cancel the rest of my stay and they won’t help me with that. Paying FULL price for a bathroom shower that I can’t use is completely unexplainable. They reassured me that there isn’t a maintenance man in the building and rooms are fully booked.

Very nice hotel just north of I-95 in Norwalk, Connecticut. The hotel is very modern. The staff are super pleasant and very helpful. The beds in the room were amazingly comfortable and the room was very clean. There's no breakfast, but there is food for sale. The bar only has mega-brewery beer, but there's a decent alcohol store called Al's Warehouse Wine, Beer, and Liquor just north of the hotel. There's a nice outside area with a fire pit, swings, tables, and chairs. There's also a Dunkin Donuts within walking distance.

Love love love this hotel! Great size, SUPER clean! The staff is understanding, me & my husband checked in at around 4am for 1 night & since it was so late they let us stay an extra night no extra charge. We went here often before we got an apartment together, i recommend them 100%! Soap & shampoo is provided in their luxury bathrooms & a lot of food options near! Great view! I need a reason to go back lol

Definitely a very good hotel, especially if you're solo. The rooms are cozy but you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. The staff is beyond helpful and kind, and they were extremely attentive to my needs. This hotel has an awesome little business center and fitness center in the basement area, and they were completely empty when I was there. I highly recommend taking advantage of those amenities. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

I'm sure this hotel has many fine qualities I just didn't see them. The first night in the hotel, doors were slamming and people were talking loudly in the hallways or through the very paperthin walls. Before 6 AM the fire alarm went off and all the power went out. By 11:00pm the elevators still didn't work. The safe in the room was locked and the AC didn't work. It's 80+ degrees in the room.

The Edge Hotel was perfect for what we needed and a bonus for what we didn't know that we needed: a cute boutique of a place that was convenient and appreciated. I felt like I was vacationing in a European hotel, but really, I was spending the night to prepare for my surgery at NYPres/Columbia the very next day (mid-October/2020). The staff was amazing and we were so appreciative of both Tara and Nelia's hospitality during our stay. Though I only stayed one night, my hubby stayed two to be nearby while I was recuperating post-op. The location is great and we enjoyed being in "The

What looked like a cute boutique hotel turned out to be gross. When I went to shower the handle came off in my hand, there were brown stains on my towels and let's not forget the brown water. I was told there was an engineer who was working on it and no manager on duty to help. I am late to a meeting that I came to NY for and have no place to shower or brush my teeth. Do yourself a favor and stay someplace else. The customer service and experience was awful!

Anywhere else this would be small and cramped, but in NYC, with the entire city as your living room, this place rocks! Well put together, clean and we'll though out rooms. None of the things that drives me nuts like a bathroom door that doesn't open up all the way because the toilet is in the way. No, compact and efficient, clean and neat, I'd come here again. Nice and clean fitness center and a small but serviceable breakfast area.
Speaking of the complimentary breakfast, some moderately healthy choices, some of the usual carb and processed food laden decadence (donuts, they have

I'm staying at Edge Hotel in lieu of an AirBnB studio across the street that was just too edgy. Third time in NYC, this is definitely my luckiest find in the lodging arena. Mario, Maria, and Lili at the front desk are all very friendly. Brandon, in building operations, helped me out with a (silly) door problem I encountered -- it was my first day here... sleep deprived! I was embarrassed, he was gracious.
Anyways, this lil (54 room) hotel is SOLID. It's very clean, new and shiny (open less than a year). The rooms are thoughtfully designed, and the bathroom is SWEET. I'll snap a
