By utilizing our optional freeze option, your membership will remain in our database on an inactive status until your return. You may either pre-set the freeze dates so that re-activation is automatic, or simply call or email to re-activate when the time is right. There is no limit to the period of time you may remain on freeze.
Our certified trainers are not employees of Vanguard Key Clubs and therefore, rates and availability may vary. I went to college for Therapeutic Recreation and from there went and got my personal training certification through NASM. I am a high energy, results driven personal trainer. I have been training on the Seacoast for the last 8 years.

Vanguard has 5 locations if you don't like one location try another.
Can't emphasize this enough if you don't like North Hampton go to Newburyport. If you don't like Portsmouth go to Dover or Kittery.
This is a 24/7 GYM with all the equipment you could ever need not and all inclusive health club and that's reflected in the affordable price.
It's up to you to put things like hand sanitizer in your bag bring wipes to change your game. Bring a towel to place on equipment you use, and wash your hands before and after a workout. Clean up after yourself. Lots of motivational people to talk and workout

It was my go to place to workout, until this big group of guys started coming daily which i have no problem with, but when they just sit at the gym for hours upon hours occasionally doing workouts then just talking it gets annoying and it’s apparent that many people in the gym do not like them. They sit there and laugh making fun of a lot of people in the gym which makes them feel self conscious about their workouts. It really disappoints me that they started going to vanguard because I will have to take my business elsewhere just because of how annoying they really are.

Been going here for two months now. Absolutely love it! When I first signed up and didn't get even have my key yet it was easy to just call and get access in. It's very organized and professionally run. All the equipment I need is there to have a great workout and if there's any issues they encourage you to report it so they can remedy it right away. In my opinion this place is a hidden gem. Selfishly, I hope it stays that way because I love how it's never crazy crowded.

There are two of these. The one in Portsmouth is nicer, but they are both good. It's 24 hours and there is no one there to boss you around. That being said, there is no one to help spot or answer questions or help if you're hurt.You can't buy supplements or food either. Also, it's too damn expensive for what it is. Don't workout here if you're poor or inexperienced.
