Centennial Hall is steps from the center of campus and offers a housing option for all types of students. From our first year student options to our returning student suites and apartments, there is a home for everyone. Featuring study and social spaces, ESF students find both a space where they can study and thrive academically as well as a place where they can relax and connect with classmates.
Services
Sure, your unit is yours to decorate and furnish as you wish. However, furniture that is in the unit/room when you arrive needs to remain in the unit/room. Before bringing additional furniture into the common area, please consult with your roommate(s). Please read the housing contract as certain restrictions may apply.
Here at Centennial Hall, we strive to be there for you every step of the way. Centennial Hall wants to make sure your questions are answered and that we do everything in our power to help you succeed. We don't take our job lightly. We have a friendly and helpful staff with the resources to ensure your kids have a safe and supportive place to live that cares about their well-being.

The building itself is nice, safe, and comfortable but the staff and management ruin it. I lived there for two years and found the resident assistants (RAs) to be rude and unhelpful, and seemingly burdened by any request to do their jobs. The building manager at the time had a poor attitude and became nasty when dealing with residents. She was one of the least customer focused people I’ve ever met. I wish SUNY-ESF would reevaluate who they have operating and working in Centennial Hall as it has the potential to be a really great place.

Really nice dorms. I live in one that basically just looks like a small apartment with a roommate. The bathroom is huge and the shower has a seat. The security system is very high quality and every student that lives in the dorm is issued a Key FOB to have access to the different building amenities.
Please excuse the messy room I am still in the process of getting everything set up. Also, most of the storage shown aside from the drawers and tables are what my roommate and I bought. Along with all of the decorations.

I love how Centennial hall is arranged, and I love that I don't have to share a bathroom with more than two people. The common areas are great to hang out with friends in, and everything is always clean and functional. Service repairs are made swiftly and all concerns are addressed. The security is great, and I always feel safe and at home. Living here makes meeting new people fun and easy. Thank you Centennial hall for being such a great environment for me to live in.
