Their locations are super close to campus I have lived at the 614 South Crouse building for two years and you can't beat the location. Looking forward to a third year with them!

I lived with University Area for two years. I found the staff to be responsive and polite. The best part is you can actually go into the office and speak to someone. I used to live with Campus Hill and could never get ahold of them. I would definitely recommend University Area.

Since I have read so many reviews about this agency, let me share my own. I lived at 1011 East Adams street, and my experience was good. The apartment had no rat problems, no maintenance problems, etc. I lived there for 2 years, and the only problem they had was that the apartments had no proper cooktop/kitchen. Also, at the end of my lease, I received full refund for my security deposit. People giving reviews about this agency PLEASE DO MENTION THE ADDRESS, so others can avoid the usual bad locations and move to better ones by this agency. I would certainly recommend 1011 East Adams as it is almost

I was a tenant last year and while some of the negative comments here are warranted, I don't think they're as bad as the other (predatory) landlords here in Syracuse. To compare, my current landlord is increasing rent by 30% despite zero renovations whatsoever in a middle of the pandemic! In my 2 years with UAA, they didn't increase my rent and I assume that if they do, it will be within reasonable range.
My reason for moving was the unbearable disturbance and partying at 614 S Crouse. It's really gross, sometimes there will be vomit and discarded bottles in the elevator. I don't know if these

This is my first year renting from University Area Apartments. Overall the service has been great with just a few hiccups along the way. One big thing I am a huge fan of is that my lease ends May 10th and they are accommodating me for my SU graduation by extending my lease until May 23rd. Granted I have to pay an extension fee but given the circumstances that seems fair. I'm not too worried about losing my security deposit. I've asked the manager and owner how they expect the apartment to be left and they have been very clear about their expectations. I would definitely rent from them again in

My daughter lived at University area Adam street. She loved the apartment. In the beginning we read very bad review about the security deposit, it wasn’t true. They refund money if you leave the apartment in a good condition, like my daughter she didn’t had people over or messed up the walls. She is looking to get the apartment at the same place for her masters.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality
Horrible landlord who is currently forcing SU seniors to vacate their apartments on the DAY OF GRADUATION. If we could give 0 stars we would. UA is a horrible rental agency who tries to take advantage of college students.

I am just finishing up a two year lease with UAA in May. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff members. Whenever I placed a maintenance request they ALWAYS responded within a day or two. The apartment was super nice, clean, and looked like it was freshly painted when I moved in. The landlord was super helpful when I asked a million questions and always took the time to explain things to me in a respectful manner. When we had that massive snowstorm not too long ago my driveway was still cleared before I had to leave for work and the sidewalks looked like they were salted. I cannot

You will NEVER EVER get back your security deposit. They will charge you no matter what.
Don’t trust those fake 5 star reviews.

This was my first real college apartment and first time living by myself. I had a million questions and the staff at University Area Apartments were very patient and helpful throughout the entire process. The apartment was a really good size in comparison to others I toured and maintenance is very responsive. I will definitely be renewing my lease with them.

Do not rent from UAA. Overpriced apartments in the Cage are dingy and dumpy. Our apartment is full of pipes that make loud noises all hours of the night and every time I've called maintenance to get it looked at they say there is a quirk in the wall and nothing they can do about it. Trying to get out of this lease will be a nightmare. UAA takes advantage of students in need of housing and doesn't care about the apartments that they rent out to students.
