St Johns River Steak & Seafood

We had a good time. The waitress accidentally spilled water on my daughter. My daughter was ok, but the staff flew into to clean. The manager came quickly assessed and addressed the situation. The food was good, the drinks were nice. My son's 1st birthday was fun.

Excellent food excellent atmosphere a little chaotic because they're short of help like everywhere else. I got the New York strip steak which was fantastic a baked potato fully loaded And asparagus. It's very pricey but what isn't now a days.

We got in without a wait and the service was very prompt and friendly. We had an amazing lunch experience with beautiful views of the waterfront. The Coconut shrimp was delicious, and our meals were very tasty. We will be back for sure.

My family and I have been to this restaurant on multiple occasions. Beautiful view, amazing service & owner and the food is absolutely delicious. I’ve tried so many menu items and they are all delicious! My favorite is the Boom Boom Shrimp and the Chicken Alfredo but I promise you anything you try you’ll like!

My boyfriend and I had a date night here and I have one word for that night….Amazing!!! The food is amazing, the service was awesome, everyone was so friendly. It was an amazing night, we can’t wait to come back!

Delicious Victoria Secret cocktail, Fried Haddock with sweet potato fries, sautéed veggies! good service and great view of Lake Monroe! we will definitely return!

Atmosphere: clean, nice, and cozy.
Lunch:
Fried Calamari - okay. It has crispy thin fried battered but the calamari are sliced thin and chewy. I had better fried calamari elsewhere where the cut is thicker so when it's fried them, it's crispy outside and tender inside.
Shrimp & Grits - I am not a fan of sausages added to it though. The grits tasted a bit salty already. Shrimp were tender but on the salty side with too much flavoring for the little man. So it's salty seasoned shrimped on top of salty flavored grits. That's just too salty for us. My little foodies do liked the melting cheese though

The environment is really pleasant, the water makes you relax, expect for the a little loud music for a Monday lunch.

We ordered a few appetizers and a painkiller.
Boom boom shrimp is ok.
Spinach dip ok.
Crab cake nothing wow.
The nachos… for a $14 chips plus $4 to add chicken, you imagine that will be amazing. But is not! Just chips, with a lot of cheese, that was melted and gets on the table hard, no cheese dip or other sauce to make creamy, just a bar of cheese and chips. Very salty. And some chicken and tomato on top, very disappointed.
Pain killer very sweet.

Our server Frank was perfect unfortunately My chicken sandwich was just frozen Tyson chicken breasts but the fries were delicious. Overall was a wonderful lunch. The coconut shrimp and shrimp tacos were good.

Finally got to try this place and happy we did! They were busy but serve drinks while you wait. I noticed right off the bat that the manager was great! She was running around serving food, bussing tables and seating customers. After serving for 10 years, that’s always a good sign to see a manager like that! She actually ended up being our server because they were busy and she was so kind! Everything came out really good! Can’t wait to go back.

They were extremely short staffed but you would not know it. Friendly. Fast service, amazing drinks and best crab cakes and shrimp pasta I have ever had!

The food was fantastic - they have fresh fish and the drinks were very good as well. I got the mango margarita and the spin dip with hush puppies. All very good! The atmosphere was great too - friendly staff and well kept tables.

Great scenery, sitting on the water outside on their porch is a huge plus for me. Super calming an relaxing. We ordered the Blackened Gator Bites which were good but slightly over salted for our taste. My wife ordered the shrimp tacos tossed in boom boom sauce which she LOVED, with Cole slaw on the side. I came for my birthday lunch around 12 on a Sunday and we got seated right away! They sat us right by the window with the beautiful water view yet still in the air conditioning. The food was phenomenal! I was never a seafood person but I sure am now. We started off with the coconut shrimp and WOW! So good and now I am hooked. My mom got the St Johns pasta with the fried shrimp and she loved it. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the pasta tasted fantastic.
