Had a great stay. Front desk very friendly and helpful. Rooms a little out dated but was very clean and lots of room. Everything we needed was there. Great location. Will definitely stay again. Great for families.

I give it 5 stars! I had a very bad experience in a luxury hotel. And I had to cancel the same day they gave me the room, they took my 333.15 deposit and they didn't solve the problem. My family of 5 were looking everywhere and couldn't find it. 😔 nothing.
Until we saw this hotel and decided to ask! If you need a little solution! But the manager here was so kind that he showed us a lot of avitations! And we decided to stay. It was not what we were looking for but I am not complaining; They gave us an oceanfront avitation and we loved it. We are sad because we warned that we had a bad day with

This place was a hot mess from the jump. When me and my family arrived there was a note on the door saying 'I am helping other guest' and the entrance door was locked. Only one person was running a hotel. We drove 10 hours to get there so we were ready to get there and get seated. Then the main guy who was working wasn't all that good. He was suppose to send my sister a confirmation for a room and didn't. Who my sister booked the rooms with gave her an exact room number. When we got there he said sorry wrong room and gave a us another one that wasn't what we asked for.

Ask for Room 307. It's clean, up to date, and no carpet! It's not just a standard one room hotel room. Bedroom, which had a door to the kitchen, full size frig, oven/stove and microwave. Then a door to living room area that had a new fold out sleeper, with a table for sharing meals. You can close doors off to kids!! Did your vacation just improve? Balcony has ocean view. Really nice, entire place updated in the last year. Good location too, not in all the hubub, closer to spring maid. Easy access up the street to McDonald's and stores. Great stay! You can walk to the beach without

Never coming back here. This place stinks. Everything is dated. It's high time that they should renovate the place.

Jonathan Harbor is a good deal for what you get. I come here every year with my family for about a decade, sometimes multiple times a year. It seems like a lot of people do not realize that you cannot stay in other hotels for around $120 during the summer, they just want to stay in some big flashy place, and don't know what they are talking about. Considering what the other reviewers complained about, you have to think about a few things:
1. The rooms are independently owned. So when others are complaining about outdated dishes, stained carpet (that is probably just a tough stain), oven

Booked a hotel room- paid $50 extra a night to get ocean front room. No check in time was posted when I made my reservation- call at 8Am when we arrive they tell us check in isn't til 3 but to call back at noon because it should be ready. Call at 12- says it's not ready but then says he'll call and check to see if it's ready..? Said he'd call back in 5 never did so we go in 45 min later and he says yeah we got a room for you. So he says he needs my ID and credit card. Give him my ID and he says "oh you're not 25..." Apparently hotels.com doesn't let

Most definitely a good example of you get what you pay for, but we had a great time and didn't have any problems with this place. The fridge and the stove worked, the AC was fine and it looked clean! The water pressure on the shower is probably going to be hell if you find yourself with a sunburn, the beds are by no means very comfortable, and the two dilapidated and abandoned hotels next door just add to the experience. "Partial ocean view" became a funny joke, but the pool was very well up-kept and nice, and the beach is just a short jaunt away. Doubt we'll visit this hotel

Yes its old but my husband and i have stayed here twice and never have had any problems and love the location and the value. We had a direct oceanfront room with a mini kitchen full size fridge king size bed and living room and was plenty big enough for the two of us without being crowded

The hotel is overall very rundown, however there are several privately owned condos that are available to be rented. The pool was okay, it is an indoor/outdoor pool with two tiny hot tubs, one of which was shut down. The kids had fun in it! Trash piled up near the elevators and it took them a while to clear it out. We did not use the maid service, so I can't comment on that. The elevators are slow. The front lobby has been renovated bit most of the hotel looks 30 years old...it is a good spot to stay for a cheaper rate and if you plan on spending most of your time at the beach! Janice at

If zero stars were only possible. Horrifying, filthy, roaches, mildew and garbage piled up in the stairwell... Tv bolted to the wall, no modern locks and parking in an empty lot across the street. $140 for this dump? We checked out immediately and went elsewhere. The manager was indignant and suggested we check in at the Hilton where he also worked. That was perhaps his best idea of the day.

The only positive was... CHECKING OUT!!!

This is probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I'm not sure how anyone can honestly give this hotel more than 1 or 2 stars.

For starters, the hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The carpets are filthy (stained, ragged, etc), the furnishings are dirty, dingy, and out-dated, and the rooms are horrid. This is the kind of place where you would get bedbugs. Two out of our four towels had large blood (assumedly) stain on them. I went to housekeeping to replace the towels, and when I got back to the room I discovered that those towels
