If you go through a service like Hotels.com, have your receipt open on your phone when you check in. I paid for everything, including tax, except for the 'resort fee' of $32. They tried to double the fee when I got there. When I protested, they dropped it to the $32 but charged an additional tax so it came out to $36.16.
Otherwise, the place was clean, the bed comfortable, and plenty of hot water with the best water pressure I've had in years.

I didn't realize that we had an "economy room," which are in a different building than the main hotel. We were on the third floor with no elevator. The floor was wet and slippery and didn't dry throughout the duration of our stay, so we didn't really feel comfortable not wearing shoes. The chairs were stained and worn and it felt generally dirty. There was a cockroach. There was an 18 dollar resort fee with zero resort amenities. View was nice but you could find the same elsewhere.

If I could give it zero, I would. The only "1" would be that it had a great view and close to everything. Other than that, this place is a sh*t shack. Disgusting, smelly, and old rundown 70s era that has never been renovated. Yes. $1200 for 4 nights. Pillows and beds smelled like piss and puke. The only possible reason this could be anything other than a 1 star review is either they were too drunk or it was the view or they could've possibly been paid to give it a better review perhaps a free night not sure how it could get anything better than one when actually zero would be the

Our family including 2 children appreciated the hotel's location to beach/restaurants, oceanfront view, and quiet room. Other guests included couples and families. No noise issues from guests/outside. On site parking was limited but there was satellite parking available. We used the kitchenette to make/store our prepared meals bought from a nearby Food Lion. Housekeeping and pool maintenance were always busy daily. The elevator's wet floor was cleaned midday. Front desk was friendly. Did not see roaches or bedsheet/bathroom stains. Drawers were intact. Beds were soft but doable. However the kitchen

This hotel needs to update their website. This hotel does not cater to Residence of Myrtle Beach I booked a trip one month in advance and when I got there was told that I had to be refunded my money because they could not cater to me because I lived in Myrtle Beach being that I took off work and made arrangements to have a sitter to enjoy my stay there I was very disappointed.

The price on this hotel is what drew us in. Granted it's off season so I figured that's why the prices were so low.
There is 2 buildings...A smaller 3 story one and a bigger one. We stayed in the smaller building. There is no elevator so you have to walk up the stairs. We got lucky and got the first floor room. The building is old, and needs major renovations. Half of the outlets don't work, there are holes in doors, and the walls looked like they needed to be scrubbed down, blankets had brown spots on them, and the bathroom tub drain had all kinds of garbage in it.

This place isn't bad. The price is fair for it being right on the beach. The rooms are basic as well as the hotel itself. For it to be right on the beach id expect a little more from a place like that. The free ice machine barely worked, which was a bummer. However, they do have a pool which goes indoor and outdoor if you don't want to go to the beach. Easy access to and from the beach and has a nice view of the beach as well. If I were back in the area and the price is right id certainly go back. However, this wouldn't be my first go to option if others were available! Overall

The Windsurfer Hotel is right along the beach in Myrtle Beach. There are 2 main buildings, a 3 floor building that seems to be older, and then a second larger building. There is an outdoor pool, and the larger building has a pool on the ground floor that has an outdoor section.
I stayed in the smaller building, and was on the 3rd floor. There is no elevator so you must carry everything up the stairs. The room could really use some renovating. The handles were broken off the balcony door. The bathroom was very outdated with absolutely zero counter space to set things down as you're getting

Me and my boyfriend visited this hotel last night based off of the many good reviews, we don't think we will be coming back bathroom is so small you can barely turn around in it, floors was not clean at all you can see the dirt on the carpet and you could see the dirt in between the tiles in the kitchen area and bathroom floor we only choose this hotel because it had good reviews and it was inexpensive but you get what you pay for !
The good part of it the bedding was actually clean and Comfortable!
If you can stand the dirty floors a mildew smell than this is a perfect hotel room for

This 3-star hotel fit all of our needs for this last-minute weekend getaway.
The Windsurfer may not have been the fanciest lodging option, but for what we paid per night it was worth every penny!
Tip 1: you must be 25 years old (or married) to check in.
Tip 2: The hotel has a 3 night minimum, however they reserve rooms to booking sites like Expedia where you can reserve for less nights (this is what I did).
Pros: price was very inexpensive. Also the location was hard to beat. We could walk directly on the beach and we were less than a mile from popular tourist destinations, like the skywheel

We decided to come for a quick, last minute trip this weekend. The Windsurfer caught our eye because it offered ocean views for a moderate price.
It's an older property and there are places that need work, but the staff are nice and the views are great!
It's right next to the 2nd Ave pier. We expected the beach out front to be crowded because there are a couple public access lots on either side of the hotel's property, but it's been a very light crowd even with the 4th of July this week.

Not a bad hotel for the price with ocean front rooms. It's by no means a 5 star resort but it is a good place for a decent price. The pools are nice they have an outdoor pool, indoor/outdoor pool, kiddie pool, and a hot tub. The oceanfront view is by far the best part of the hotel and the proximity to the boardwalk. The staff is very friendly and helpful definitely would recommend to anyone.

First of all, you get 2 1980 Tvs.
We had one room, but we had to be moved to another due to the beds having bed bugs.
There are not enough lights. There is no toilet seat cover. Fan ceiling doesn't work but we do get a big box of a fan.
Maintenance is good and view is amazing.
Pool only goes 5ft deep and there's a jacuzzi.
Telephones done work either.
Overall it's a nice hotel.

This place came recommended and had some good reviews on another site. My biggest complaint - and to me this is unacceptable - was that even though it was a non-smoking room, it reeked of stale smoke. I thought I would be able to tolerate it but woke up with a sore throats and headache, both of which dissipated when I got on the fresh air.
Pros: ocean view balcony almost worth the price of admission and why o gave it 2 stars. Indoor-to-outdoor pool (didn't actually try it). Proximity to beach and boardwalk (though almost a mile from concessions). Kitchen with stove, microwave, sink, full

Not a terrible stay overall but not good. The staff was nice enough. They do not have 24 hr help at the front desk. Parking was a bit of a hassle with relatively few close spaces. Those they had were small so it made maneuvering even my compact car a challenge. Although this place is technically located on the "boardwalk," it is about 6 blocks from the part of the boardwalk where there are things to do. It is located next to the 2nd Ave Pier. The rooms are acceptable but not what I would consider "good." The linens were updated but that was about the extent of it; the rest of
