Stayed in the gold spike tower and the room was gross particularly the bathroom and HVAC unit.
That bathroom was falling apart. The shower curtain rod was falling out of the wall, the towel rack was falling out of the wall, the shower head was falling out of the wall, two cockroaches, and the vent looked like it hadn't been dusted in months.
The nightstands were covered in scratches, dents, chips, and the power cord for the lights in the nightstands were cut. The dresser was also covered in scratches, dings, and dents.

The above mentioned was very unsettling due to the $100 security deposit

It was an ok stay for new years. Walked in the first room and it smelled like the room was drenched in bleach. Couldn't even vent it out. Thank God i had some bath and body works start to clear up the room. But found some stuff wrong with the room. Yellow stains along the rim of the bed, toilet has shut stains, had problems with the TV channels, floor of the place smelled like cigarettes even though it's a smoke free building, bath tub was stained, and carpet wasn't vacuumed floor swept or mopped. They should have cleaned it cus or check in was at 3 we couldn't get our room

Was clean. Revolving shelf with mirror on the back was pretty clever. Excellent access to freemont St. But pretty quiet, anyway. Elevator a little slow, could use an update outside but will in all, especially for the price, not bad at all

Reason for not giving it 5 is because water would go from hot too cold in room when showering.
Also front desk lady called her twice and she basically said to call back and wait 20mins. Almost made me cancel reservation.
However besides that was nice and clean, room smelled great, no other complaints. Would recommend for the pricing

If was Excellent because Alexis at the front desk communicated Oasis policyies amenities and location of my room great. And left me with the confidence that my stay will be enjoying one. To add to that the house keepers made sure my accommodations was 5 star.

I live in San Diego, but I spent 20 years in this incredible city, since 1999. I saw It change the makeup to many times, as resident and professional, since I was restaurant manager at the Venetian, but let me tell you the hospitality of the professional in this industry in Downtown Las Vegas never changed. Oasis Hotel at the Gold Spike is finally back to business. That make me happy because I come in Vegas often and usually I
spend a couple weeks at the time and Oasis is the best choice because is affordable, big rooms, comfortable, convenient located in the heart of the magic Downtown, which

It's the perfect room for any trip to downtown. Everyone is super friendly, their rooms are clean, and the beds comfortable. If you're planning a trip, I highly recommend it, it's fast enough away from the action that you can easily tune out the ambient noise, but close enough that you don't have to Uber or drive anywhere.

If I could this this place a negative 10 I would! Definitely not what was advertised online! The staff was pretty nonexistent and nonchalant during check in. The hotel room was a complete nightmare. The smell
of this place was horrific! It smelled like cigarette smoke and musty bodies. My husband and I had to walk to Walgreens to property clean and deodorize our room. Upon entering there was a guy that was “checking for a leak” in the bathroom. There where dead roaches in the bathroom along with chipping paint in the tub and dirty shoulder curtains! All of the furniture was old, dated and

Really cool retro hotel. Feels like stepping back in the 70's.
Premium location and amazing customer service.
I booked the king suite and it's a great value.
We were able to walk everywhere in downtown.
Hosted at the front desk was kind enough to print my boarding passes.

I’ve been here almost a week & ive enjoyed my stay. The beds are comfortable & soft, my room was clean. I love the thick & soft towels that they have In the bathroom. The staff in the lobby are very sweet people. Beautiful pool! It’s connected to the gold spike Club & Casino so it’s noisy after hours but not too noisy. I really have no complaints other than housekeeping not checking to see if I needed anything. I definitely plan on staying here for another week or so!

Decent short stay. Sights of the art around the premises were cool. Room was cozy and comfortable with great TV channels, necessary good-sized work station. The only thing is their cable kept losing signal. Once the technician fixed it, the TV wouldn't even turn off from the remote!
Recommend a stay here because the area is walking distance to tons of restaurants, outdoor activities, Fremont Street Experience, Container Park, and the fairly new Circa Hotel.
Life-sized board games were only open at the weekend. Even a separate closed off smoking area was available for potential lung cancer patients

Please everyone, avoid this place at all cost. It is extremely loud, the walls are not sound proof. They club right downstairs will be playing loud music all night and every day. You will get no sleep and have a miserable time. The rooms are dirty and not cleaned. The bathtubs are slippery and dangerous. There is no room service and no fridge.

Great little boutique hotel. Not luxurious, but not a dive as some people seem to be indicating. Very well priced and the perfect distance from Fremont - easy, close walk, but far enough to avoid the typical problems with noise/blaring music. The pool is a great bonus.

The resort fee is only $20, half of what's typical for Vegas, and includes parking + wifi, neither of which is a given in LV.

The outdoor bar/giant games in the back are great, and attract a slightly hipper/younger crowd than is typical for downtown. When I was there, this area was open Thursday - Saturday.

Overall, great

We booked a stay here during life is beautiful music festival, because of its proximity to the venue. And everything was great during the day, small chill hotel with funky artsy vibes. But when we came back from the festival at midnight. We were told that only registered guests can enter the building (this was not mentioned when we booked the place). My cousin's husband wasn't even allowed in to their own hotel room because the room was booked under her name, anybody entering had to have been on the registration and they didn't tell us about this rule when we booked the room. In short I would not stay here unless you were living on the street and I swear I never leave bad reviews.

My friends were behind me about an hour and the room was under their name so I had to hang out in the hotel lobby. Within the hour I was waiting, 5 different rooms came back and asked to be moved or refunded for multiple reasons such as the smell, broken things around the room, dirty, the list goes on.

Here I am thinking these people are just up tight and can't handle a little dirt. Well my friends show up and right off the bat the reservation is wrong. We needed a double bed and

Re: Free Cancellations & REFUNDS

So I reserved a room on Booking.com on August 10th here for the Sugar Shack room ( what looked like a cute small house with a patio right by their bar) for a week because the price seemed sweet and it came with FREE CANCELLATION as long as it was a week prior. Unfortunately I had to cancel my trip and I thought, well luckily it's only August 12th two days later it shouldn't be a problem right? So I cancel and call the front desk and she says it takes a week. The next day I was charged for the room on the 13th and as I waited

For the price and how many nights we stayed was fantastic, the room was recently painted all furniture seemed to be on the newer side. Bed was comfy only had three pillows wished there was at least one more but ended up using a sheet as another pillow. Room was fresh smelling A/C worked great view was decent mostly street view and lights shinned into room at night but wasn't bad. Bathroom was cramped where the door was inconveniently close to toilet and shower making it difficult to leave open. They provided fresh linen/towels as well as provided hand soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner

Other than the pool area this place is a dump. I'd give it negative stars if I could. The "staff" is indifferent and really unhelpful. No map of the property is available and we never could locate the fitness room, even after asking for specific directions.

The elevator breaks down regularly, one poor woman was stuck in it for 30 minutes in sweltering heat before they got her out. Hope she didn't need ice from the machine to cool her down because it's empty a lot.

The parking lots, hallways, and stairwells are filthy. FILTHY.

We stayed here over NYE.
Good location if you're looking to stay downtown. Bathroom we had was very small but the both the room and bed were good. It was annoying not being able to have a power outlet near the bed to charge phones. Check in is at 3pm and we had arrived early. They said we could access the room early but for a fee of $10 which we thought was pretty ridiculous.

Cute boutique hotel. Made reservation on line and when we got there to check in at 9pm there was a line out the door. The girl working the desk was grossly incompetent. No lie, it took 30 minutes to check in which made us late for a show we had bought tickets for on line. When we bought those tickets we had a buffer of a solid hour! The room itself is basking. The bedside lamps both didn't work because there was no place to plug them in!! The tub was old and really needed to be replaced. The tv worked but only one channel.
For the money it was a good deal. It has a good vibe and we would
