The number of people choosing cremation has increased significantly in the past few years, yet cremation carries a long tradition and remains largely unchanged. Cremation simply expedites the process of reducing a body to bone fragments through application of intense heat. What is done before or after the cremation is up to the survivors, or up to you.

Today I attended my stepmother s memorial. I had placed flowers and a flag on my father's headstone next to my stepmother s plot, in his vase. There was room for both. When I got to the graveside the flowers and flag were thrown on the ground on hot concrete. I don't know what makes me most angry. The disrespect of my father or our flag. Hard to complain when Oscar was one of the people who did this. To top it off wasp nest at graveside that could have been sprayed prior and not. This is NOT the old firlane.

If I could give a negative rating I would. They were in no way helpful to my family on this time of need. My brother passed away in January and is just being laid to rest now and the end of February. He was laid out in their chapel and no one was there to help the family with the services. The women opened the door pointed in and said if you need anything let me know. My family came from Massachusetts to lay my brother to rest here in Washington where he has lived most of his life. There was no one to even there to let anyone know if they where in the right place. People came in looking for their

Really pleased with how my dad's plot turned out, complete with a vase. It's a nice memorial of my dad. The visitation was nice except for the thin walls. Could hear the office area chatter. Good cookies served though and my dad looked nice. The salesman was okay, but just that- a salesman. He was friendly and patient, but didn't explain a lot and we had to ask about cheaper options. Also, I wanted the salesman to explain the bill and he didn't. Sure enough, there was a major error and I had a check written the next day. Discount for cash payments. Overall satisfied and pleased with Fir Lane.

Considering I am not considered my mothers next of kin but her husband whom she hated was. I returned an request for money for wreaths at Christmas asking they not contact me in the future only to find out that the told him about it. It wasn't any of his business. I was completely honest with them I would not bury my dog in this cemetery after the way I was treated but they had no problem taking my money. Also they only allow 3 items on graves. Sometimes there are more then 3 people who loved their family members.
