Arlington Unitarian Cooperative Preschool (AUCP) is a vibrant and welcoming child-centered, cooperative preschool with the mission of developing and encouraging social, intellectual, and physical development in the children entrusted to our care. We celebrate the individuality that is vital to your child's development, and we recognize the critical role that both educators and primary caregivers play in that development.
AUCP admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, disability, national and ethnic origin in administration of any of its educational or admission policies, nor any other school-administered programs.

In December and May children from Arlington Unitarian Cooperative Preschool (AUCP) stuffed Emergency Food Kits (EFKs) for AFAC. Each EFK supplies one day's worth of food for two people and they are distributed to clients with immediate needs by Arlington County social workers. The preschool's outreach committee was seeking hands-on service projects to engage the children and creating EFKs was a great fit.
AUCP is located on the lower level of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington, Virginia. We have an excellent relationship with the church. AUCP rents several classrooms, storage space, and office space from the church, and we have use of the multipurpose room and other areas in the church as needed.
AUCP offers a variety of classes for different age groups and on different days of the week to meet the needs of our families. Panda classes are offered five mornings a week and give toddlers an opportunity to play, learn, and socialize in a safe, nurturing environment. Families may enroll their child one day a week, or more if space permits.
