We are a home away from home Early Enrichment/Daycare/Preschool located at 825 23rd Street South in Arlington near Crystal and Pentagon City (Walking Distance to Metro) Serving Children Birth to 5yrs. Our experience of over 20 years started as a home daycare center in the neighborhood. With our waiting list growing, we decided to open a Center but we did not want a commercial space which felt cold and impersonal.
We converted a residential home to a daycare/preschool which was a more difficult task with all the regulations and ordinances some of which included having sprinkler system, fire and carbon monoxide alarm monitoring, and two emergency exits at every level. Although not required, we had a whole building humidifying system installed to make children with sniffles much more comfortable during the very dry winter months.

Services
Outside activities Include sports camps like mini-soccer, basketball, hockey, baseball, mini-golf (we have our course) this teaches children that exercise fun. This reflects our "Healthy-Mind Healthy-Body" philosophy. The projects help and enhance with the development of gross and fine motors skills, social skills, language, abstract and concrete thinking.
We have been selected transportation champions since we joined Arlington Transportation Partners (ATP) in 2014. SYNLawn(R), the world's leading provider of synthetic grass products, is helping daycare centers make safer learning environments for children. For parents, educational development and safety are the two biggest concerns they have for their children.

Average daycare but lacking for older children's development. The past year has seen an increase in staff turnover, facility disrepair and child incident reports. Overall the Center tends to be unorganized and inefficient. There's a lot of referencing their curriculum and learning philosophy in practice it's mostly lip service. We would recommend that parents request to tour the facility during circle time or an organized learning activity for a more unfiltered view of services provided. The majority of families live in the immediate area and seem captive to the convenience. Cost is on the higher

My daughter has been going there for the last 10 months and my experience has been fantastic so far. The teachers are so loving (with no or low turnover as far as I know) that my daughter just jumps to them when she gets dropped at the daycare. It's Spanish language facility and we speak both Korean and English at home. Thus it may be a bit confusing for her for the time being, but eventually she will feel comfortable in 3 languages in the long term.
