The Patruno family, from the Puglia region of Italy, have come to call Hilton Head their home after visiting the island for many years; opening businesses; and having family nearby Charleston. Wine Flights change every month featuring one of our favorite regions of delicious wines to savor. Explore something you have never tried before and discover your new favorites. As well, Wine Flights are available to order by the glass and bottle in the bar and dining room. Perfect for cocktail hour; with just appetizers or a fun way to start dinner discovering & comparing notes.
Nunzio's offers various private dining options from its chef's table, accommodating 14 guests to a restaurant buyout. Our private rooms are available for luncheons, dinner and cocktail receptions with engaging seating arrangements, and customizable menus and beverage packages. We specialize in rehearsal dinners, weddings, as well as corporate meetings in many of the restaurant's indoor and outdoor dining spaces.

This was the best meal by far of our trip! We would have eaten here several times during the week if we had discovered it earlier. The atmosphere is very nice and service by Remi, our waiter, is some of the best we've ever had. He was excellent! The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. Never had such a wonderful beef carpaccio and the veal was cooked perfectly. Can't wait to come back!

Nunzio's is a wonderful Italian Restaurant located in Hilton Head SC. There is a great patio with heaters for year round dining. A spacious Bar is full service. Inside are beautiful dining areas. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food is excellent. Entrees include Pastas, Fresh fish, meat and poultry dishes to name a few. Well worth a visit.

First visit to Nunzio's - we have another favorite Italian spot on the island but have always wanted to try this place. It's a beautiful restaurant. Our service from Michael was fantastic. Solid wine list. We started with the arugula salad and prosciutto with burrata & arugula. Nicely dressed & flavorful. Pastas were very fresh. We loved the bolognese, the boar & the clam with crab, white wine & garlic. Desserts were enjoyed by all. We will definitely be back.

On a recent trip to HHI we decided to try some different places to eat. We've been visiting the island for many years and always tend to revisit our old favorites. We had heard so much about Nunzio that it was at the top of our list of new spots to visit. Well, it was great! The wine list, menu selections (including lots of gluten free items), staff, and the restaurant itself were wonderful. We liked it so much we ate there twice during our stay. Our servers, Carla and Anthony, were both outstanding. Fun, attentive, knowledgeable....perfect.

We will consider Nunzio is one of the best Italian restaurants in our experience (including one's in italy)! Even though they do not use home made pastas, their vongole and seafood pastas tasted great! Veal selections were also great and veal chop was perfectly cooked medium rare. Nice outdoor seating and wine selections.will visit here again for sure when we are in HH!

Taylor was an amazing server! The service and food were just perfect. We started with the Burrata….. it was perfect and fresh. The calamari was very good. We tried three entrees, the gnocchi, lobster ravioli and capellini with shrimp. All three were outstanding. For dessert we tried the espresso crepe brûlée and the hot chocolate cake. I would go back just for the hot chocolate cake. The specialty coffees were a great end to a fabulous experience. Kudos to the staff for delivering an outstanding experience!

As many of the restaurants we dined at on the island, from Ombra, Hudson's, Salty Dog, and Captian Woodies, Nunzios was our favorite by far. It has a beautiful covered outdoor seating, in addition to an outdoor patio. Reservations are accepted for both patios. The food was excellent, our server, Roger, provided outstanding service. I would highly recommend paying a visit to this fine dining restaurant.

I liked this Italian place. The waiter was attentive, helpful, and friendly. They have a couple outside areas, and we sat on the covered deck out front. It's well covered in case of rain and has fans for the warmer weather and heaters for when it's cooler.
The food was very good, but I expected more flavor from the tomatoes in the salad. The waiter said they were from a local farm and had a lot of flavor, but they really didn't. On the other hand, the beet, arugula, and goat cheese salad was delicious. The homemade gnocchi was well cooked and tasty. The Mediterranean Sea Bass Branzino

Had dinner with the family and was able to get an early table. We did the early dinner special which was awesome. I had the prosciutto appetizer, salmon and custard for dessert. Every dish was made perfectly. The tomato sauce around the Salmon was delicious, and you could tell it was made fresh. Finished it off with a house made limoncello. Best restaurant we’ve been to at Hilton Head!

By far one of the best restaurants on HHI. We did partake their early dinner for $27.95, while ordering some special cocktail. Our server Michael (Chicago Mike) was very friendly and knowledgeable. Nunzio will be on our regular go to list. Everything was fresh, most of the garden items are grown right on site. Make this your go to place for the best Italian restaurant on HHI.

Husband and I had date night here on our vacation. I picked it based on reviews and a coworker that grew up here vouched for it. So glad we went!!! Need reservations of course but it wasn't crazy crowded and everything seemed to run like a well oiled machine. Food was timely, hot, delicious, and fresh. They make their own pastas (most of them) and they have their own herb garden. Madeline, our server, spoke VERY highly of Nunzio, said that was his project, and that he is tireless and always up to some sort of project to make his restaurant better. I appreciate that kind of drive and passion

If you’re looking for expertly prepared Italian food on Hilton Head, Nunzino is the place for you. The wine list is excellent, there are plenty of options from a variety of regions with Italy predictably featured. Veal piccata and my porschutto with buratta were both correctly prepared and seasoned, and proved delicious. Perhaps the star of the show was the panna cotta with fresh fruit, sweetness and richness were perfectly balanced and it was a lovely collusion to an extremely enjoyable meal.

In the HHI area. Shows this rustic primarily because they allowed for reservations on their outdoor patio. I also noticed there early dining menu And thought that could be a good value for my family of four.
There is outdoor seating both in the front and the back of the restaurant. We arrived at 5 PM. Note that the early dining menu is only offered between 430 and 530.
This review is only for early dining only. Note that most entrées on the main menu were in the $35-$40 range. Early dining menu includes three courses for $27.50 gratuity.
