Order was over 2 hours late. Trying to be understanding given Covid and staffing. The person answering phone gave exact same response as review 5 months ago: only one driver food should arrive in 15. For us it was another 45 minutes. Food was very cold. Should inform customers when delivery times are not as promised

We come to Hilton head a minimum of every 2 years. This is one of the places we always return. It has a solid base of regular locals who eat there and you can tell by the interaction of the staff.
Right now they are short staffed (who isn't it seems) but the customer service was great. They had one person in the kitchen, and one person handling all the tables and yet I never felt ignored. Watching others even with something they wanted corrected - the place was nailing it every time. They have a very strong if it's hot right we are going to make it right attitude.

What a great little Italian spot! Everything we had was wonderful and the service, while a little slow b/c it was busy, was good. They were able to accommodate a table for 6 and we shared a delicious thin-crust pizza for appetizer. In typical Italian family-style fashion, we ordered several dishes to share: chicken parm, lasagna, and fettucine alfredo. The alfredo was the star, so rich and creamy. Everything else was great and made for an excellent meal.

This establishment was absolutely fantastic. Very family oriented and friendly. Daniel was our server and he was absolutely personable. Food was outstanding serving sizes. Almost everyone had to take some home due to how filling and delicious it was. All dough and sauces they stated was made in house and it shows!! Whenever we come back to the island, we will without doubt come back to this restaurant!! They are absolutely on top of their craft!

My wife and I stopped in after a day's bike ride. Only two servers when we got there but they were hustling and had a great attitude. The manager pitched in to take orders also. Order the eggplant parmesian and a cauliflower crust pizza. My wife says the pizza was the best cauliflower pizza ever. My eggplant was thick and tasty. A family oriented place...kids, ball caps, and shorts are welcome. A real down to earth place.

This place may be a bit off the main drag, but don't let that hold you back. Despite the picture of a good looking pizza that comes up on the Yelp search, Bella Italia is MUCH more than a pizza joint. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. Menu choices were plentiful and reasonably priced, and our waiter was excellent. It's all about the food though for this Italian, and Bella Italia hit the mark. Everything looked and tasted great, and the portions were huge. Seek it out!

We Ordered Online through Slice (who's customer service is awesome). However the same cannot be said for Bella Italia. I ordered a Gluten Free White Pizza. The pizza came with 2 toppings so in the notes I wrote chicken and bacon. One would think that the default on a GLUTEN FREE pizza would be grilled chicken. However, at Bella Italia apparently they have no concern for customers with allergies and defaulted to breaded chicken in addition to providing a clearly tomato sauced not white pizza. I should also add this is after I had to wait 2 hours to get the pizza! When I called and complained, and

I never write reviews, but this is a shocking exception. We ordered a lot of food for 5 people, including a "Gluten free white pizza, with chicken and bacon". It was a 2 hour wait on a Monday night. Whatever. But when we got the pizza the chicken was breaded. As in, coated in gluten... on a gluten-free pizza. The person who ordered the pizza had celiacs, so the pizza was non-edible. Also, it wasn't even a white pizza (it had tomato sauce).
We called back and explained - they said they would remake the pizza for us in 10 minutes. But 2 minutes later they called back and demanded

Terrific place to eat! I ordered the chicken parmigiana, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Daniel the waiter was also one of the nicest waiters I’ve ever seen! He was funny and congratulated me on my order selection. The whole Italian atmosphere with old time music was very pleasant. The service was also excellent and the prices were reasonable. I would totally recommend going here!

Four adults and 2 small children were taken great care of by the wait staff of Bella Italia. They managed our needs which included gluten allergies and a 3 & 1yr olds. Our food orders included a wide range of dishes, all delicious. We were pleasantly surprise with this restaurant and will defiantly be back. Thank you!

The worse service ever experienced! We ordered a delivery and it never came ... Leaving the whole family without dinner - my toddlers were very hanngry!!. I tried to call 6 times and sent me directly To voice mail which was full so I couldn't reach them ! Delivery never came , this is beyond bad , I will stay away from this place if I were you !

Ok first let me tell you this was going to get a 2 star review up until the end .
1st we got to restaurant at 8pm not to crowded was seated and then ordered - 20 minutes had passed no wait staff , no table bread , nothing then one salad came to table and we asked where were the other 5 salads. The kitchen staff said there was only one and got the waitress - she then came to the table and said they were out of cesar salad. 20 minutes later to tell us they ran out of salad ?
Ok then as it's been 20 minutes we asked for the table bread and wait staff stated it was coming . Ok then about 30

We regularly go to Bella Italia-- By far the best pizza on the island. They sell traditional New York style pizza as well as many other Italian favorites like lasagna and Spaghetti with homemade meatballs
We travel from the south end of the island, but it's well worth it.

I can only speak to their pizza delivery, but it was indeed much faster than the time quoted (45 min instead of 75), delivered with a smile, and absolutely awesome. The cauliflower crust and the "regular crust" were so flavorful, they didn't skimp on toppings (try the eggplant or the ricotta!), sauce tasted really fresh, and there was the perfect amount of cheese (a lot). They knocked it out of the park!

Quality ingredients, good service, and good prices. This place is a quality Italian restaurant in the Hilton Head Island area. I didn't try their authentic Italian food nor did I eat at the restaurant due to COVID-19, but based on the nature of the staff and the clientele, it looks like it's a rather quality experience.
I ordered a cheese pizza, regular wings, and a chef's salad. The salad was surprisingly full of meat, and additional toppings and Even though I got this as a pickup item, the lettuce was still very crunchy and not too soggy or wet. With the dressing on the side it definitely helped

Came here to eat dinner with my family was thoroughly not impressed by the menu or service or lack there of. When I walked up I asked specifically to be seated outside the lady walks me to a table inside and I look at her and I said excuse me, I want to sit outside. She says that she will put together a table for me nine minutes ago by she does not come by. So I go back inside to ask again for a table because there is to literally two empty tables. Finally a gentleman says oh I will go make you a table. I did not need him to make a table - literally my 10-year-old kid grabbed a chair after we waited

I can not put into words how spectacular the food is here and their service is just as great!
Our server was very nice and on it with everything. She refilled our waters frequently helped us with menu options and was just very friendly and made me excited to be there.
The interior gave that authentic Italian street vibe with raised sides and striped awnings. The tables were cute and hade nice wooden rolling chairs. The Italian decor was on par with the feeling too.
Now the best part was the amazing FOOD
