Porter & Pig

This place is a lot. I mean that in a good way, but the aesthetic might not be everyone's cup of tea. While visiting the island I found this place via Yelp. When we entered we were told that they didn't have much staff so we could be seated without a reservation but there would be a wait (so I won't fault them on that because they were up front on that). It is very small inside so I don't recommend for large groups.

The aesthetic is a little confusing but if you're going to go for something, I appreciate that they really went for it. There are feathers, sequins, mismatched

This place is so cool! I've come here with some girlfriends and gotten charcuterie to go and it's been incredible every time. From the food to the atmosphere to the service, every offering here is so thoughtful.

I first got the large charcuterie board and it was delicious. Cured meats are the way to my heart and this charcuterie delivered. I even got the keep the boards and glasses. Really special. Once my friends finally stopped flaking en masse, we came here for dinner. It's a very fun and eclectic atmosphere, you're going to want to take pictures! The food was good too

There are so many other amazing restaurants in Hilton head, don't waste your time with this one.

Not only was it in a hard location to find, the food is just average.

We were visiting and invited by local friends to join them at Porter & Pig. Yes, this little hidden spot had charm and eklectic decor, but more than a pretty place to look at, I want to be wowed by the food on my plate. First, this is a small place, seating is limited, and reservations a must. Even with a small crowd, only the owner, one waitress, one chef, and one piano player were running the show. It was difficult to talk over the piano entertainment and service was a bit slow. The owner appeared to be making all of the drinks, and none of us were impressed with our mixed drinks. Go

This was a late night pick for a sweet treat!! They were soon nice and the inside is BEAUTIFUL!! The we're super busy, but made a great effort to make space for me and my boyfriend and even stopped to take our pictures. Skyler provided great service and checked on us since we were in the linvibg room (in the cut).

Two other couples along with my wife and I happened upon the Porter & Pig while vacationing in Hilton Head last week. Upon entering we were amazed at the ambiance and artistic interior design. We were greeted immediately by the hostess and by the Owner Tam. We had never been here before and were going off other reviews we had read. All I can say is that this restaurant is a hidden jewel that needs to be experienced. The specialty cocktails were amazing and the food was five star. What a find. Actually visited twice in the same week on vacation - a first for us! The atmosphere, service, and food were all top notch. What a fun and friendly place. The second night back we even had entertainment with an amazing piano player. The cocktails are super fun. Other tables ordered the charcuterie boards which also looked terrific. Can't say enough about this place - were the best meals of the week!

Charming and eclectic. Best cocktails on the island no question. I had the charcuterie and cheese platter with family, And the generous Waldorf salad. So good. Tam gave us personal attention, the service was outstanding and the place was very clean. Ellie played the piano and was so entertaining, I'd listen to her all week. Card games on the table added to our fun. I am looking forward to returning.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars! I don't write google reviews typically, but Porter & Pig is one of a kind! Tam and her staff truly made this dining experience special, and the atmosphere she has created are unparalleled. My mom and I came in for dinner on a quiet night, and from the moment we walked in Tam made us feel at home despite being from out-of-town.
She helped us decide on a wine and was very accommodating and helpful when building our charcuterie board- as a plus, I have never been somewhere where a mix of peanuts and chocolate chips are served with the red wine, and I think its

Loved the drinks, dinner, and service! Came as a couple, but would love to come back with friends for a charcuterie board and board games. Tonight my husband and I had a cuban sandwich with Mexican corn and the vodka tortellini. Every bit of food was amazing! A must-visit when in Hilton Head!

Fell upon this place on a whim and it did not disappoint!!! Drinks were unique, delicious, and amazing! Worth every penny. The owner greeted us as we came in and was nothing but lovely and personable. We even came back after our dinner reservations for a night cap and stayed until they closed! The ambiance was magical and and unique.. this place is one of a kind! Highly recommend !!!

Best date night at Porter & Pig the ambiance was so unique, we loved the live music, the service was incredible and the food was amazing. We tried the Wagyu Wonder Burger and the Prized Pig Cuban. The owner, Tam, is such a great host and passionate about her business. It was a great night! We will be back!

I gave Porter and Pig five stars for an overall fun, memorable experience. First of all, the atmosphere is funky and unexpected. Our table for six had cushy seats with sequined pillows and a trivia game waiting for us. We were entertained by the pianist who took our request for a birthday song for my daughter and her friend. Lots of fun!!

Fun & unique dinner! The old fashioned's, Wagyu beef burger and Mexican street corn, amazing. They play old movies, dean martin era music and tons of board games for the tables. Great family night!

So BIG changes foe Porter & Pig since last visit to them in 2018! What used to be a gastropub is now a retro 1950's restaurant/bar. Although the Decor has TOTALLY CHANGED to a very feminine 1950's club setting the food and drink menu held up. Lots of changes but enjoyed them all. Been here for two weeks and best very dirty martini so far. We ate charcuterie, pulled pork nachos, Cuban sandwich and Wagu hamburger. Bravo to the new owner you held up to the expectation. Btw Christina is amazing and wish her well with her future! See you next year Porter& Pig!
Btw: Lots of attention

We went for drinks last night. The interior is very funky and cool and the people are warm and welcoming. They helped me find wines I enjoyed and made great cocktails for my husband. We are really hoping to make it back before we leave

A hidden gem on an island paradise. We celebrated our daughter's 21 birthday there last night and all I can say is thank you for such a wonderful evening. From the first moment to the last y'all made it a special night.

We have been coming to the island for over 30 years and have tried just about every place here for dinner and/or lunch and I can count on one hand the number of times the experience came anywhere near last night's.

The passion the owner and her team have for this place and their customers is off the charts as is the service, the drinks, the food and the music

A friend of ours made reservations for this restaurant and when we walked in I was in awe! The atmosphere was so neat! They were having a 20's theme night when we went. The food was amazing, I ordered tortellini and my husband ordered shrimp. The owner was extremely friendly and we had a really fun dinner. Eat here!!

This review is a few months late but wow, amazing service and food! Several of our friends rented out the space for the evening and they didn't disappoint! All the staff were attentive and quick to make and bring drinks! We're hoping to make this an annual tradition!

Walking into this tiny store front establishment your eyes are drawn to plastic greenery, feathery decor, mismatched dishes and glassware cluttering the bar countertops and a musty order. The online menu tempted me w drunken donuts. Once inside to order, we found the menu had changed. For the price I was expecting oversized donuts w generous and appetizing toppings. Pictured the maple bourbon bacon donuts were not even the same in coloring! The size of the donuts looked like they came from a hostess prepackaged box. Huge disappointment.

The bartender was polite and made fantastic specialty shots with an assortment of wonderful candies with it to compliment the drink. Wagyu burger was awesome. Must visit!!!!

This review will not do it justice!! Please stop in here for an amazing experience. Such a wonderful treat to find this kind of place! They have an excellent bar and drink selection. And for dinner we had Vodka tortellini with pulled pork, then for dessert we had apple puckered powdered doughnut. Everything was amazing. We also enjoyed music from all decades by a wonderful jazzy piano singer. Decor ambiance was just like stepping into Alice in Wonderland....totally amazing evening!

Absolutely amzing little place. Piano singers voice you could listen to all day. A speak easy feel. A must to visit board games on the table. The decor is amazing even down to the restroom walls.

My wife and I wanted a light dinner and some cocktails, and were visiting HH. We are so glad we found this place! The atmosphere is funky and fun, and we felt like regulars in no time.
Tam took care of us, while the vocal/piano stylings of Ellie set the mood.
We ordered cocktails and a charcuterie board, and both were excellent. The board (we told her to surprise us) consisted of three meats, four excellent cheeses (including a fabulous brie), assorted nuts, comb honey, and chocolate. It was huge and delicious!
Overall, a great experience, and we will surely return when back on HHI!

First thing; this place is beautiful inside and out!! Tam is an amazing owner and host, from her kind personality to the fun drinks and great menu. The food is amazing, the chef came out with samples for us to try.
The atmosphere is so calming and cozy but still indulging in my boujie side.
