The Little House Learning Center
At The Little House Learning Center teachers and staff are highly trained. The childcare and education provided at our center is based on excellent quality care for children, focused on the individual needs of each child. At The Little House, we encourage children to explore their curiosity while in a safe and fun environment.

The focus of our program is to accompany and understand the emotional, cognitive, physical and social developmental stages of each child. Understanding each stage allow us to appropriately stimulate and ensure healthy development, both individually and as a group. We are an Early Childhood Education Center committed to providing care and curricular support to our children.
Services
Kayla Walker is our amazing Director. She has been with TLHLC since we opened in 2016. She is a very fun-loving girl that can relate to children of all ages. Ms. Kayla loves to take pictures of the children and document their growth and development through photography. Ms. Kayla is has obtained her CDA and plans on completing the State of Georgia Director Training in the near future.
The Little House Learning Center has highly qualified staff, educated in child development and psychology. These qualifications allow our staff to offer a unique program, oriented in emotional, cognitive, physical and social development of our children. The Creative Curriculum (R) is used with all age groups, depending on the school site.
At this stage in their development, children become aware of their surroundings and start to engage in social connections. A baby will become increasingly mobile, developing the ability to grasp objects and to crawl and sit up. This empowers the child to explore and discover their new world. Children learn about themselves and their environment through motor and reflex actions.
A major new skill development for children in this age-range is the accomplishment of independent walking. Learning to walk symbolizes that they can navigate their environment, taking on new parameters and possibilities. We believe it is important to establish routines because it is in this stage that children learn to recognize and follow familiar routines.
Children transition from individual exploration to group discovery and play. Our goal during this stage is to maximize this natural tendency and encourage relationships and teamwork that lead to the construction of knowledge. Children are encouraged to participate in games that refine and enhance their coordination and motor skills.

I would absolutely not recommend this daycare. They very money driven and take advantage of their clients. The only reason we selected this daycare is because they claimed to be very familiar using the childcare aware grant to subsidize our daycare . They even have a billboard in the front. We enrolled my daughter to daycare. It’s seemed fine , I loved my daughters teachers .then recently, one day the owner Ms. Doris , tells me so nonchalantly, they no longer have the certifications needed to be covered with childcare aware grant and I have to pay full price , keep in mind , I pay 133 to now 288

I love this daycare! This is the only daycare I trust with my infant. The teachers in the baby room do an amazing job as well as the other teachers in the other classrooms. My son loves his teachers. The teachers in this daycare really do put the children first!

I’ll give it 3 stars bcuz my kids love it here Ms.Vicky, Allison (director) & both Marie’s are all amazing and Kitchen lady is very welcoming I absolutely LOVE them however there is only so much that they can do when owner Doris starts to hire friends/family members and I notice care for my kids well-being getting neglected .The insect problem have not been taken care of yet. After I have complained multiple times. my child comes to center everyday with bug spray on and still return home all bitten up in areas on her body that I didn’t use spray bcuz It was covered with clothing on. My son enrolled at The Little House when he was 6 months old. We had to leave when he was 20 months old as we had to move to another state due to job relocation. During his 14 months at The Little House, I had the best experience! By the time he left he loved to sing, his vocabulary was >75 words, he could count to 5 and he had the best manners. I am convinced that his speech and language development have excelled as a direct result of his teachers. He loved his teachers and he was so comfortable during his time there. I could not be more grateful to Ms. Kayla and her staff. She does a great job

I have only great things to say about The Little House Learning Center! My 2 year old attended the center for approximately 6 months and our experience was wonderful. The center is always clean, bright and encourages a fun and happy environment. The curriculum is solid and I've seen my daughter mature intellectually as well as socially at the school.
The administration team is very responsive and you can tell that they love the children and are passionate about the work that they do. One incentive that I loved was that they launder the children's nap mats/blankets so that you don't have to worry

Overall, we have had an excellent experience at The Little House Learning Center. I believe my son's teachers sincerely care about his well being, growth and happiness. The center is definitely more than a daycare, it's a place where my two year old is learning a lot. I'm often surprised by the things he says and does at home, such as reciting his alphabet (at age 1), counting to 15 (out of the blue one day), and speaking in Spanish. Any concerns that I have had during the time my son has attended the school have been addressed promptly. When I pick him up in the afternoons, he is happy and enjoys

Our family has had a great experience at The Little House Learning Center. My son has been attending the The Center for a year now after having removed him from another school with high teacher turn over, lack of communication with parents, and too high tuition for the money. The teachers there are kind and caring and our son has grown intellectually and emotionally there so much. They also take the time to educate parents, too, with free classes on childcare, nutrition, etc.
The Little House Learning Center is not a daycare, it's definitely a school with a family atmosphere. Classes are small

My family and I love the Little House Learning Center, especially our son who attends here. Everyday he looks forward to seeing his teachers and friends. Most importantly, he is learning something new everyday. At 2 years old, he tells me what is going on when he is in class and I love it. This center checks ALL boxes for us. Curriculum, safety, nutrition, and communication here exceed my expectations. The staff is wonderful too! I can go on and on with positive feedback here. I highly recommend The Little House to all families.

My little one has been at The Little House Learning Center for one month to date. However, during this time they have had spirit week (each day is a different theme, for example sports day), and celebrated Halloween with trick or treat activities at the center. They seem to always have great activities engaging the children and parents each month. My little one is 1yrs old and this is the 1st real daycare she's attended (we tried an in home one for a little while and were not very happy). My husband and I are very pleased with how loving the staff are with our little one. The director Ms. Jeannie
