Prior to staying here we had a bad experience at another hotel and chose to move to this hotel. Before coming to this location we called the hotel and spoke with a receptionist (lady) over the phone and she was extremely pleasant. From this initial phone call we felt very happy and decided to go check the hotel out. It’s not a Hilton or a resort, but the staff were very welcoming and the rooms were very clean. For the price you pay it’s a bonus that it is ocean front with a great view, because most of the hotels along the same road are much more expensive. If it wasn’t for no availability

This place is the perfect low priced, ocean front property for you if:
If you grew up and your pantry was on top of your fridge.
Your parents had a nice car and another, decent car to get around the neighborhood.
If you packed school lunch because your family couldn't afford school lunch.
You lived in a good neighborhood but ate boiled hot dogs and top ramen because your family struggled to make ends meet.
My point is, don't compare this place to a resort. It's an old Mom and Pop Motel with what you need to have an enjoyable stay on the beach. Nothing more nothing less (except good ol' southern

The staff was on point keeping us supplied with towels and Everything we needed. Beautiful oceanfront view and a kitchen to save money. Will definitely stay again. Thank you.

My husband and I stayed at the Admiral Motor Inn 43 years ago on our honeymoon. We have come back several times over the years to see how the old girl is doing. This year is finally the year that we have to admit the old girl has seen better days. The building itself needs some work. The rooms are tired and old. Stained bedspread with some burn marks. Very strong smelling cleaning fluid used. The kitchen only had one Skillet and no other pans. However the fridge is nice and big. The view is very nice and close to the water. Good location on the boardwalk. If the owners can even slightly update

Horrible place they have cockroaches
And ducks swimming in the dirty pool I had to cut the stay a day early after asking for a refund of the day they didn't even apply it I have the duck an roach pics to send to the board of health horrible.

Really would not stay here ever again.

Parking: we were here in the off-season and the parking lot was full. We had to park about two blocks away in a parking lot that was lit but seemed dangerous place to leave your car.

Check in: the lady at the check-in was very rude. Not sure her name but she's blonde and rather large. She was very dismissive and difficult to deal with. When I asked where to park she kept pointing to somewhere across the street but then got annoyed because I couldn't figure out exactly where she was pointing. She just kept pointing in one direction and saying over

I love it... Of course you can't compare Lux Hotel. It wasn't boring. It was clean and comfortable. The owners of the hotel are very sweet women. I would recommend it to you.

This tiny establishment is squished into a small lot, hampered by utility equipment. The rooms are modest in size, with microwave, full size refrigerator and coffee maker (no coffee). There is insufficient parking and there is usually no one at the front desk; generally available by phone. There is a pool located in the parking area, which makes for a strange juxtaposition of auto exhaust, people coming and going. The soda machines were broken as was quite a bit more. The mold in the bathroom was upstaged by the tile work that consistently fell short... There was an insect, possibly infant

The room was pretty basic, but clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi was slow. Also, my reserved room style was not honored. Reserved ocean view, received pool view. Not quite the same thing, and the price was not modified to reflect this "downgrade".

I stayed in the Admiral Inn Aug 12-15, and was VERY pleased with what we got for a great price!! We booked same-day when we arrived and got a good rate. The rooms were very clean and well-stocked. It came with a kitchenette, which made me regret that our stay wasn't longer! It is RIGHT on the beach - no need to cross busy streets or lug your stuff around for a long walk. The wifi wasn't the best connection, but it really only gave me trouble a few times, and the most important things I was doing online we're Facebook and Instagram. My family and I have been coming to this place off and on for over 20 years. This place is the best value on the strip for my money. It's constantly renovated and very clean, they are always improving this place each time I go back. There are other hotels I've been to in this area that are stuck in a time warp and resemble something from the 50s or 60s and have the same plumbing fixtures etc. from those periods as well. The ownership here really does a good job to keep this place looking current.

Most importantly though are how wonderful the views are from here, it's also very
