Jim is amazing: Very thorough and walked my clients through the home bottom to top, not over looking any detail, he writes a detailed report and a summary easy to understand. He is efficient and has a short turn around time frame. While others are increasing their rates due to a high demand market, he kept his affordable.

I've worked with several home inspectors in the past and thought I'd worked with the best, until I met Jim Keller. Jim is an extraordinary home inspector. He found critical safety issues the pre-inspection team didn't find and he had sophisticated tools that picked up a gas leak! This is of course a serious safety concern at it was completely missed by the other inspector. Jim is a true pro. I would recommend him highly.

Jim had up front pricing on his website. He returned my initial call almost immediately and he was able to inspect my new home right away.
We walked th house together and he showed me all of the major concerns. The walkthrough and the report were so detailed and thorough. It gave me great insight into what kind of home I’m getting into. There were also pictures that were very helpful to my wife as she couldn’t be there for the inspection. I would highly recommend A Closer Look to everybody buying a home!

We got referral's for three different companies to do our home inspection. I got on Jim's website and right away I knew I wanted to go with him because of his experience and upfront competitive pricing on the site, and I wasn't wrong. Jim was very professional and extremely thorough, I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that I had all the information I needed to make a decision on whether or not to buy the home (which we did). Jim spent about 5 hours at the house before we met him there and he walked us through the entire home showing us the things he had found. The report was very detailed with pictures

Please if you are looking for a home inspection don't hire Jim or his company. We hired him based on a referral and it was awful. He missed so many things that we didn't realize until after we moved in 90 days later. I spoke with him on the phone and his excuse for missing some of the things I outlined to him was, "I had too much to do." If that's the reasoning, I would honestly recommend you don't hire him or this company since they have SO MUCH TO DO! WOW!!!!!
