Positive: Professionalism, Quality
Longley property management was a pleasure. They have vast knowledge of the current market and the West Seattle neighborhoods.

In addition to being disorganized and having outdated systems and practices, the owner of this "management" company is disagreeable and rude, and acts like it's a hassle to have to serve her clients. Run, don't walk, away from this terrible business.

Anybody seeking professional property management would do well to consider "Longley Property Management" I am a home finance professional and been working in real estate for nearly 30 years now. Perhaps one of the best things the "Meridian Park Cottages Homeowners Association" ever did was hire Longley. Venita and Longley property management took this association over from a previous manager who was operating in direct conflict with their own bylaws leaving the HOA open for potential litigation. Venita worked diligently to inform board members of the HOA's obligations regarding insurance and current

I was very impressed with Venita and her team. Longley took over management of our condo building community which included 2 buildings and over 50 units in Queen Anne. I was an owner, resident, HOA board member, and landlord during the 14 years we owned our unit. So we had a decent amount of experience working with both property management companies in various roles. The previous management company was decent, but Longely was much more active and engaged with our HOA. Venita, the owner, seemed to be very involved with the day to day operations of Longley Management. And if she wasn't able

A year ago, Longley Property Management entered into a co-management arrangement with the property owners of the apartment I have lived in for over seven years. It had previously been very capably managed by ownership alone.

LPM has continued that capable management and even stepped in at the start and handled issues such as additional, properly-located smoke detectors, examining water heaters for condition, to verify that there were no leaks, and to note the age of the water heater, so that they are replaced before their useful life ends. They also checked to make sure shutoff valves to all

Management does not care about owners and tenants. They will not follow up with requests and will not be proactive about informing resident of serious mold issues. They hired repairman to fix water leaks and mold and did not notify the affected units that their walls needed to be replaced. They are not hands on and not in site. In the past three years I have never seen Venita or any of her staff visit the site.

They are not hands on as stated on their website. They do not notify tenants of renovation, construction and repairs. There is extensive mold growing in the condo building and there was no notice sent to owners. Repairman came to the building to address the mold and started removing walls without any notice to tenants and owners. Do not expect timely responses from this company.

I had the misfortune of crossing paths with this management company last spring. My friends and I applied for a home to rent, and one friend paid the deposit and signed the agreement and the other two of us did not, as we had not seen the home. I was then pressured by Venita to sign the agreement and received a long string of furiously written, threatening, and juvenile emails when I did not want to sign the documents because I had not yet seen the property. After receiving those emails I decided without hesitation that I did not want to be bound to this management company as their tenant. Without

This is the property management company for my studio apartment. I have lived here since March 2018. Venita and her staff have been professional and efficient. She arranged a move-in for me on short notice. Noise complaints were handled swiftly and thoroughly. An inconvenient repair needed was handled quickly. The option to pay rent online is awesome. The lease was thorough with multiple inclusions of safety guidelines as well as expectations of me as the renter to maintain those guidelines and courtesies. Venita and staff respond to emails very quickly. Overall I am happy to live in a safe and

I have had the opportunity to work with LPM for the last 2 years as an owner & now an owner/board member. From my first interaction, Venita and team focused on the owners' position. The team does a great job in showing all options and being the advocate on behalf of the owners. They also do a great job on the backend administrative essentials such as financials, supplier engagement and ensuring that we are in alignment with city/start requirements & laws. By having LPM in place, it allows the board to focus on improving the community. As LPM manages multiple properties they are able

Property management is a tough business. Two of the most important things are great organization and clear communication. I've worked with a lot of property managers over the years, and Longley is at the top of the list. They serve our HOA well. Since LPM took over, we have improved service from our vendors, much better communication with owners, better financial reports and a general feeling that things are getting done. We've had our share of special "situations" and the Longley team has been patient and persistent in helping us find a resolution in all cases. I've talked

We have been clients of Longley Property Management for over 15 years and over the years learned to trust Venita and her team to make the right property management decision on our behalf. Since we own multiple properties it's important to us the have management that will find the best vendors and pricing for us. This team stays on top of the issues and will let us know what preventative maintenance we should conduct each year to keep our property in great shape. Conducts semi-annual apartment checks so any issues are resolved earlier than later.

We've had property managers that have

Terrible "management" company. Treat tenants like children, place is dirty, don't take responsibility for it and try to blame the vendors they hire. Property is in worse shape than when they took over. Don't manage repairs well, costing us a fortune. And they're rude, hiding behind the board at every turn. I could go on. I wish our board would vote them out.

Reviews smack of friends postings. No business license info, no background info, etc. My advice any time someone is handling your money, a license is not enough-they must be bonded and insured against loss of your money. Make them prove it.

Venita and her support team Maureen and Stephanie are to be commended for their knowledge and expertise in managing South Ridge Condominiums in SeaTac Wa. Continual maintenance and improvement of the buildings and grounds without any special assessments in the 19 1/2,years I lived here as an owner is directly due to their abilities as a skilled management team.
