Rose City Veterinary Hospital has four full-time doctors who see patients on a daily basis. We are fortunate to have a very talented and diverse technical staff. Our certified technicians have all completed a minimum of a two-year program to learn their animal care skills and/or have passed the national boards.
Rose City Veterinary Hospital is a full-service companion animal hospital. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime.
Full payment is required at the time services are rendered. For your convenience, we offer several payment options to make checking out as easy as possible. Should your pet have an emergency or require an unexpected procedure, we offer Care Credit to help with unanticipated expenses. Care Credit is a credit card company that allows you to make interest-free payments over six months for medical expenses.
Although the advances that modern medicine have afforded us make it easier than ever for Rose City Veterinary Hospital to treat your pets when they are injured or ill, the best way to enjoy many long years with them is preventative wellness care. Routine wellness exams and diagnostic testing will help establish a baseline for your pet's health which will enable you and our doctors to better understand your dog or cat's physical well-being.
We also perform specialized surgery through the Mobile Veterinary Surgical Service of Dr. Tom Van Gundy, DVM, DACVS. When your pet comes to Rose City Veterinary Hospital for surgery, you can rest assured that they will receive the highest standard of care as recommended by the American Animal Hospital Association.

Rose city vet shows so much care and compassion for my dog and cat! Their front desk attendants are super nice and always pick up the phone and the vet I had absolutely loved my dog & helped him through his kennel cough. I love this vet!!

As long as I am in Portland I will Only be taking my heart child (doggie) here. This vet has some of the nicest staff I've ever met, the lobby was super nice and clean and they have products that I would actually buy! Also I loved all funky seating choices. It was just a great energy and experience at that place - emergencies aside and everything - but I just loved this place and I was 100% comfortable that they would treat my doggie with the best care. Highly recommend!!!

The best vet my cats have ever had! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Craig Quirk and his team at Rose City Vet. They are true professionals who care deeply about your animals and you. Since leaving Portland, I have realized just how special they are as a practice. They're committed to improving outcomes by implementing best practices and new treatments, and they continuously improve their technologies and facilities to support a higher standard of care. If he wouldn't hate the trip, I would bring my cat to Portland for his veterinary care just to go to Rose City Vet.

In all the years I’ve been taking my animals to Rose city, I have absolutely no complaints. The thoughtful staff are always so happy to see my animals and they accommodate anything I need since I happen to be blind. My latest experience with my cat Zoe and her dental work— cleaning and extraction— was great. Everything went well and I cannot think of anything I would have had them do differently

Rose city vets and Dr. B are amazing. We are so grateful for their care. Our cat experienced a urethral plug and required an ED visit. They got us in afterward on short notice and fixed him up and he was back to his normal self 3 days later. They were attentive, professional and helped relieve his suffering in a compassionate way at a reasonable cost. We are very grateful to the practice and Dr. B’s care, she got our cat tuned up and healthy again!

Love, love, love Dr. Perchick and the RCVH staff. They give our pups, kitty, and us so much love. We absolutely trust our little ones there, know they are in great hands and happily drive from St Johns to receive their treatment.
We've been through dental cleanings, nail trims, general check ups, blood draws, ultrasounds, x-rays, ... as well as a bladder stone surgery and recently, the discovery of cancer in one of our pups.
They are some of my favorite people, and I'm so happy we found them!

I’ve been taking pets here for over ten years and have always had good experiences. Currently dealing with two 10 month old kittens and Dr Berger is amazing with them, as always. She explains things so clearly and makes sure to answer all my questions. They’ve really got their Covid precautions dialed in and everything from scheduling to checkout is super smooth. Do miss the coffee and cookies though😻
