Wind mitigation is the process of adding features to your home that help withstand or increase resistance to high winds caused by a major storm or hurricane. Generally, a wind mitigation inspection is needed to determine which credits apply to a home. During a wind mitigation inspection, a certified inspector looks for key features and add-ons that reduce the amount of damage your home may suffer in the event of a hurricane or strong windstorm.

My schedule is too busy so I rarely write reviews unless someone gone above and beyond their duties. Mr. Hunter inspected 2-homes for me. He is very knowledgeable, he takes his time to explain what you are up against with your home purchase. He was honest to the core and he protected me from many different hidden and dishonest problems I faced. When he inspected my 2nd home he did not charge even after he completed the work. He gave me the answers I needed to make sound decisions on buying the home. He was so good the selling realtor replaced her current inspector to hire Mr. Hunter. Honest, caring

I’ve had Mr. Hunter inspect about 4 homes for me. No one els in north Florida comes close to the value he provides in timely home inspections for the price and quality. Every home he inspects reveals every possible detail you’re looking (and not looking) for. If there might be something a seller may be attempting to hide in a property, he’ll find it.
It’s like he can see through walls! Can’t recommend him enough to ANY potential property-owner, or home buyer.

We had such a wonderful experience with David and his team at Hunter Home Inspections. Everyone on staff is friendly and helpful to talk to. Marshall did a great job with the multiple inspections we needed on our house before closing (home inspection, WDO, wind mitigation) at an extremely competitive price. He was very responsive throughout the process and turned around all reports immediately. He also walked through each item on the inspection report with us in person to explain in layman’s terms what each concern meant. Would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of an inspector!!

Used Hunter Home Inspections off a referral from my realtor. I found Marshall to be very honest. He told me exactly which inspections that I needed an did not need, actually saved me money. The inspection report came to us fast and was very detailed. I don't plan on buying another home anytime soon, but will definitely recommend their services to friends and family.

Marshall was awesome, very honest and knowledgeable. He wouldn’t let us pay for an inspection knowing there wasn’t much he could tell us since having our crawl space sprayed with foam insulation. He gave us great advice and told us what and where he thought the issue to our problems where coming from. Will highly recommend him to all our friends purchasing homes!
