The only way to know for sure if you're buying a dream home or money pit is to hire an experienced, licensed Kentucky Home inspector. Newcomers, part timers, and family members simply don't have the ability to provide the comprehensive inspection and report that you'll need and trust to take to the sellers.
No countless hours and dollars to get a contract that is "blown out of the water" by surprise defects. Above all, a Seller's Inspection is the ultimate gesture of full disclosure and will help protect the Seller. If you are selling a home, you'll want to find out about any hidden issues with your property before your house goes on the market.
A Wood Destroying Insect Inspection (WDI Inspection) is recommended when purchasing or selling a home, and is often required by some lenders. Whether your lender requires one or not, we highly recommend that you order a pest inspection, because there can be thousands of dollars of treatment or repairs that you may be unaware of without performing this inspection.
This map is not intended to be used to determine if a home in a given zone should be tested for radon. Homes with elevated levels of radon have been found in all three zones. All homes should be tested regardless of geographic location. We at Inspect & Detect believe that proper testing for Radon levels in a home is the only way to ensure your health and safety.
A standard home inspection is a visual examination of the physical structure and major interior systems of a residential building consisting of one to four dwelling units. It should be understood that there are certain risks inherent in the purchase of property and a home inspection is inherently limited in its scope and depth.

Eric was great! He went through everything he found (which wasn't a lot) in the house we are buying and explained it in simple terms. He called back afterward to tell us there were going to be a couple things on the inspection report that he didn't tell us about and explained them. Highly recommend them!
