They started by opening a small stand at a local farmer's market in San Diego, bringing authentic Belgian-style fries, sweet waffles, and homemade garlic Aioli to the people of San Diego.

These fries are awesome. I lived in Brussels Belgium for 10 years and frequented one of the "fritekot" that is always ranked as amongst one of the best in the country.
The quality of these fries arrival those of my favorites in Brussels.
This is a very small production and as such is limited to the number of sauces they offer. Nonetheless, I will look forward to eating them again the next time I'm in San Diego.

Business operating during the pandemic, "thank you" Review #23
you know you need to get busy catching up your queue if by the time you get around to finishing a review, the business has closed or moved. such is the case with The Fry Fix.
the first couple of times we got our Fry Fix on was at the farmer's market (Saturday mornings) in Vista and were excited when they opened a "brick-and-mortar" in the Windmill food court on Palomar Airport Road.
we ALWAYS stopped by The Fry Fix for sides when we ordered mini burgers (Notorious Sliders), chicken (Cross Street Chicken)

You can now get the best fries in Dan Diego (no, seriously, they are the best in town) every day at the new Windmill Food Hall in Carlsbad. And seriously, don’t eat them with stupid ketchup, ask for the homemade aioli. They also serve loaded fries or sweet and savory waffles if you are looking for a full meal.

Classic Fry Fix with House Aioli.
Yummy! The fries were cooked to perfection. Nice crisp in every fry. The Aioli was delicious. Yummy!
Service was good but I deducted a Star because I was watching the guy at the front counter keep smelling my fries. At least his nose didn't touch my fries but just strange to watch someone do that not once but a few times. I even told him that and he said he wanted to make sure there wasn't any truffle in it. Also, he questioned what I ordered after handing me my fries.
