BEWARE. True Thai Food/Foodie Enthusiast BEWARE. Food is absolutely dog water for the lack of a better description. We ordered Panang curry & Tom Yum, & pad see eww,… thai is my favorite and I have tried restaurants all across the states and this is by far sadly THEE worst thai food I have ever had. The reviews are absolutely misleading. The people in the restaurant besides us claimed to love the food, I now believe the “Carls” in the city are just very “bad” at eating food quality. Customer service was a bit slow at 1:30 p.m. on a weekday even though there were only 2 other couples dining in when we arrived. But the lady who waited on us was very nice and friendly so we didn't mind. Our party of 3 got the lunch specials: Panang Curry with chicken, Green Curry with vegetables and Drunken noodles with chicken which were all served with a side salad with peanut dressing, a fried egg roll and a cup of their soup of the day which was a clear broth with minced vegetables & cilantro which was pretty bland. We ordered jungle curry red curry with tofu and we got tofu soup!
I drove 20 min to location, came home and called to tell the restaurant this mis understanding and he was rude and told me I ordered the wrong things! No customer service, argumentative and rude!!! I never leave bad reviews but the lack of service was terrible!!!I DO NOT RECOMMEND save your money!!

Delicious!!! My friend and I with our toddlers came in for dinner around 7pm on Sunday night. It was empty and we were the only ones there. Our service was quick, food was great quality, and the owner was attentive and super friendly. Our kids got cute kid plates which was a nice touch.

I ordered the cream cheese wontons and they were the absolute worst I ever had!!! The actual wonton dough tasted old and stale. They were very hard and had a burnt taste to them. I went back in and showed the gentleman at the register and they made me some new ones but they had the same taste. Maybe they need to change the oil they fry them in. I also ordered a Thai tea with boba and they filled the cup all the way with ice so after 2 or 3 sips your tea is gone. I paid $17 for 6 very small wontons and a medium tea. I will not be returning. Prices seem to be high compared to most Thai restaurants

We absolutely love this place. However the last order was a bit off. We ordered each entrée heat level and it appears they got them mixed up. Mine was way too hot and my husband had my low heat. Also we always order the pot stickers and this time they were deep fried instead of steamed and pan fried. Very disappointed as this it was a $75 meal.

First time ordering takeout from this restaurant. Unfortunately when I got home to eat it I noticed it wasn't my order. I called right away and they had recognized that they gave us the wrong order. Someone "switched the tickets" I was told. I had my husband head back to the restaurant for our correct order. Now I understand that these things happen, but what transpired next was a little worrisome. Not only did the man at the counter not apologize for giving us the wrong order, he asked my husband if he brought the wrong order back!!!! What were they going to do with this food?

since we're not getting outta the house much these days, when we do takeout, we always order enough for lots of leftovers​. not surprisingly, being creatures of habit not just in what we order, but where we order it, BKK Thai's one of our regular stops.
the teenage boy's a freak for all things salmon, and loves BKK's Penang Salmon dish. he worked his heat tolerance up to level 4. the teenage girl's suddenly vegan (apparently, menu planning wasn't challenging enough in the Age of Covid), and

A very typical Thai place. We had all ordered from the lunch menu. The curry was flavorful but nothing to rave about. The spicey scale is pretty accurate, I had a level 6 curry and it was not too extreme. Although a 6 in a non-curry item maybe on the spicier side, so beware. The service is fast, I would say a little rushed. Would I come back specifically for this joint? Probably not since it is just like any Thai place. Come in if you are around the area, it is a good option.

I've been collecting recommendations for Asian sports to try in North County, and this one came up at the top of the list. I was particularly excited for their lunch specials: soup, salad, an egg roll, and a main for $10 seems like a good deal. Of course, the main portions are small (no leftovers! *sob*), but it's a nice, solid meal.

We went to this place for dinner after a tiring day at Lego land. My wife is not a big fan of Thai cuisine after a very poor experience, a couple of years back. I am a big fan of Thai cuisine so was hoping that this experience will help change her perception so we can try Thai cuisine more frequently. And, for sure when my wife walked out after dinner she was super pleased. We got Pad Thai noodles, Spicy fried rice and spring roles and loved all of them
