Super Sushi

Went for lunch...started with veggie tempura, which was under cooked. Either their oil isn't hot enough or they didn't cook it long enough? Next my Daughter got the kids orange chicken plate, it wasn't good, all dark meat, which kids do not like. The two rolls we ordered were too big in circumstance to eat easily, flavor was okay but not any better than grocery store bought. Not so Super!

We just moved to the area and we were on the hunt for a go-to sushi spot.
Unfortunately Super Sushi just didn't cut it. I ordered take out and showed up to an empty restaurant. Not the worst thing on a Tuesday at 5pm but not a great sign either.
The fish did seam reasonably fresh and large slices but that's about the only positives I've got.
The rolls were stuffed with rice, almost obscenely. Our spicy salmon hand roll was made spicy by adding a couple slivers of jalapeño. The rice just tastes odd, some weird after flavor.
Just felt gross after and will not be returning.

The service was really good and we had rolls before we knew what was happening. We got a few of the specialty rolls (The Padre roll, albacore deluxe,Carlsbad roll) and they we all really good and big rolls. My wife also decided to get the vegetable Yakisoba and she loved them. At the end of the night we took most of the noodles home and 6 pieces of the rolls. Servers we all on their game. Very enjoyable!

Really wonderful experience~ came in during happy hour and got 2 rolls for $15 to share with my sister; the service was quick and friendly

I LOVE EATING HERE! This is my favorite place to go to for that once a month sushi fix i need. I eat a lot here, hence why I put how much i spend per person. I eat at least 2 rolls or at least eight orders of nigirii. If you don't eat that much, this place is a nice and affordable place to chill at with anyone. Great vibe to chill and also enjoy a beer or other specialty drinks they have for the guests. Highly recommend.

I had the Shoyu Ramen bowl and it was delicious! My husband had the Chicken teriyaki combo plate and he loved it, as well. Casual dining, clean and fast service and friendly wait staff. Two big thumbs up from us👍🏻👍🏻

It was a nice dinner. I like the sushi and noodles. I’ll come here again.

This was supposed to be 4 different sushi rolls. While they were all “different” they tasted bland and exactly the same. There was no sauce, none of the “crunch” ect. I’ve had better sushi from a grocery store. I do not recommend.

Went here yesterday for the first time and was very impressed. I’ve been to many sushi places and by comparison, this place beats most by a long shot. The prices are average but the serving size, freshness, and flavor was more than impressive. Will 100% come back. (Recommend the lemon roll)

Takeout was very well packaged. The Shoyu Ramen was so delicious. At home I added a little extra soy sauce and some chili paste for a little spicy kick in the flavor. The sushi was delicious but I’d say a bit too big for just one bite 😅 The gyoza was crunchy and had a satisfying flavor.

Best sushi place ive ever tried. highly reccomend the Habanero Roll, packed with so much flavors. The plates of teriyaki are huge. they have at door seating. the staff was amazing super kind and we even had 3 people constantly asking how we were doing.

This was my second experience at Super Sushi and won’t be my last either!!!! Service was phenomenal!! Food was excellent. We ordered two sushi rolls (Kamikaze roll & the Las Vegas roll) which were amazing, a… teriyaki chicken bowl, and the chicken fried rice. The chicken fried rice wasn’t our favorite but my husband really enjoyed his food and he isn’t a big sushi/Asian food fan. So the fact he liked it and wants to come back really says something. It’s definitely my favorite sushi place in town!!

Best sushi in all of north county!!! And, I’m picky! Miguel is an AMAZING chef!!! Don’t go anywhere else. The best salmon I’ve ever had, and many other creative rolls!

So good! All of their fish is so tender and the rolls have so much flavor. My new go-to dinner spot
