Services
At Oxford Veterinary Hospital, we strive to provide the very best veterinary care for dogs and cats. We are Oxford's first AAHA accredited small animal practice. Practices that are AAHA Member Facilities must first voluntarily meet extremely rigorous standards set forth by the association for both the facility as well as the professional care its doctors and staff provide.
Oxford Veterinary Hospital has been serving clients in the Oxford, PA and surrounding areas for over 35 years! To maximize the health and quality of life of each and every patient; to deliver excellent client service; to promote the general welfare of all animals; and to develop and nurture a well trained team dedicated to this purpose.
Our entire health care team is committed to providing personalized service which recognizes the special needs of each of your pets and the unique concerns of our pet owner. Our staff is especially skilled in the gentle handling of your pets, which minimizes stress and best promotes healing and recovery.
Our veterinarians have many years of experience and training allowing the Oxford Veterinary Hospital to offer a broad range of services. Diagnostic imaging allows our veterinarians to look at your pet internally for clues about sickness or injury. Dental care is an essential part of your pet's overall health to prevent dental disease and tooth loss.
Oxford Veterinary Hospital offers preventive care and services for kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. Bringing your pet to one of our veterinarians for a physical exam is the smartest and easiest way to keep them healthy.
Exams allow our veterinarians to detect problems and diseases that might go undiscovered otherwise, including heart murmurs, tumors, enlarged organs, cataracts, ear infections, ear mites, dental disease, skin issues and allergies.

I have been a client of Oxford Vet for many years. My cat got sick and I took her in. Everyone was so compassionate and professional. With the restrictions we must adhere to during this pandemic, they had everything worked out and made me feel safe. I had to put my sweet girl down,, everyone was so kind. i would not hesitate to recommend their practice to anyone.

I highly recommend Oxford Animal Hospital, I showed up on their door step, with no appointment, my little dog Cocoa had injured her back, the staff took her right in. The doctor explained Cocoa’s prognosis throughly in a kind way that I could understand, Unfortunately, My Cocoa Injury was severe and she had to put to sleep, the doctor and staff extremely caring and loving. They made Cocoa’s last minutes calm peaceful and pain free.

We have trusted the care of our fur babies (dogs and cats) to OVH, LLC for over 20 years and know they are always in good hands. We have had healthy, regular check ups to very ill pets. Dr. Mease is, honestly, an animal whisperer!! He loves animals and it shows. He and the staff at OVH will treat you and your pet with the utmost care. BEST vet care ANYWHERE!!!

I’ve been going to Oxford Veterinary Hospital for 12 years. Everything I’ve experienced has been to the highest standard. Not only are the doctors top notch and compassionate, but the office staff and technicians are the same. I have very high standards, as my pets are my children and Dr. Mease and his staff have given them a level of care and respect that I require every time.

It was the first time I had been to Oxford Veterinary Hospital with my very sick dog. I waited in the car while they examined my dog, Skippy. There was nothing that could be done for him. He had to be put to sleep. This was I think about one of the worst days of my life. I am crying right now and it has been months since I lost Skippy. The staff was very comforting and understanding. When and if I get another dog, I will definitely take him to Oxford Veterinary for all of his care. I would and have highly recommended Oxford Veterinary for all your pet's care. Thank you to the entire staff.
