While living here for 4+ years now, I’ve seen management changes. On the positive, there’s Karen Klecka, Leasing Consultant, that I’ve found sincerely cares about the residents. She is efficient, listens, thorough and interested. To have everyone from the office staff with her attitude would be a “dream team”. Now for the not so positives, the grounds could use more attention (trash, dead shrubs and trees, grass added - basic landscape - particularly with the buildings that the public driving by doesn’t see), furniture piles up by the dumpsters - it took 2+ months to finally haul off

I’ve lived at Stone Brook Appts since 2017 and am finally not being referred to as “the new kid on the block”. Two of my neighbors have lived in the same appt for 17 years! I think the rent here is comparable to availability in 55+ apartments in San Marcos. I have a two bedroom/square footage 1022 sq’. I like that we have an elevator although there are stairs you could use for exercise or in case of fire/natural disaster. We have trash pickup 3X a week at our door, the washroom is large enough for a large shelf unit and a much needed additional pantry, a walk-in shower with handrails and
