We have provided parents peace of mind when leaving their child at Mi Escuelita Child Care in Tempe, AZ since 2012. Originally from Mexico, our Assistant Director, Ms. Pilar, has a Medical Dental Surgeon Degree and worked for twenty years in the health and education field.

I learned from a friend that use to work here that this location grabs the kids arms and pulls on them hard when they don't agree with a childs behavior, they leave the kids with snotty noses and dirty diapers all day right before the kids are picked up by their parents, during nap time when a kid does not want to sleep they put the kid in the corner of the room, they get mad at the kids that have dirty diapers too frequently, the staff told her not to be loving towards the kids, she was told to be serious and stern with them. As a mother I am so upset to hear this. She hated the work environment

We started at the location on 48th st and Southern and then moved the new location on McClintock and Elliot because it was closer to our home. We have had great experiences with both schools. We love Mrs.Pilar, Mr.Carlos, Mrs.Ana, and Ms.Becca. Ms.Becca has taught my son SO much. He comes home doing sign language and speak Spanish. They do a good bit of hands on activities (make play dough, arts and crafts, finger painting). They sing songs and he teaches them to me. All the kids brush their teeth after lunch. They have a set daily routine and very well organized. My son loves going to school here

I absolutely adore Ms. Pilar and Mr. Carlos. I'm pretty high maintenance and I worry a ton about my 1 year old, but they always put me at ease and I never feel embarrassed for asking so many questions. My son is currently sick and at first it felt like a major inconvenience to not be able to take him into daycare, but after thinking about it... they are there to protect our kids and keep them happy and healthy and they are doing just that. I also appreciate how they keep track of how much food/milk he's having and dirty diapers. Oh! And they also text me whenever they are concerned about something

My daughter was only there for 4 hours and they over fed her causing her to throw up all day and they gave her something that caused her to get blisters in her mouth. I spent the whole afternoon in urgent care and when I asked what they gave her they couldn't tell me. Not only did they not follow the instructions I submitted in regards to my 5 month old daughters care but I lost my job because I had to stay home and care for her.

Changed fees without notice. Fed kids the same 3 meals over and over. Wanted us to pay for their holidays off, even though it was not in the agreement/parent handbook. Some employees didn't seem to be very intelligent and some employees baby talked to the kids. Overall, really nice staff, but seemed to lack activities and professionalism. They seemed to care more about your money than the children. Would not recommend to anyone.
