The process of renting the home was great, Jennifer was very friendly and professional. What ruins this company for me is Jessy Sperry. He is incredibly rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. How he has this job shocks me. He openly told a roommate that he would not contact me because I'm frustrated with him and when I requested things be sent in writing he told me he can call whoever he wants on the lease. Refuesed to CC his boss for me, ignored emails for days, etc. Jessy Sperry makes me want to cut ties with RPH after this year, and I love this home.

Owners and tenets be wary. While this company seems well run and mostly organized, as property managers they lack moral fortitude. They will extract every cent they can to increase margins. They raised rent twice during the pandemic once in April 2020 and again in June 2021. Both times were for the maximum legal amount and hit during times where the country (and Portland) were struggling immensely. If you are an owner maybe you feel ok about that but if you happen to be a tenet you will likely feel taken advantage of. The previous maintenance coordinator was not very helpful, but I had the opposite experience working with Dakota. I had a maintenance issue that she very quickly and professionally handled with diligence and attention to detail. I wish she would have been hired sooner.

Very Rude Tour Guide. We put a Application in on a home which than we Received a Text about a open house. When arriving at such there were about 15 other individuals looking at the home. When asked if we placed in a app previous to Viewing the Women explained she did not know.if we did or did not but could follow up with questions following the tour. After the tour I asked if we should follow up with a email as she was telling family as they exited to Place a Application. She answered with(Your Application is on the bottom so we will let you know in the next following days if you Have been accepted

I lived in a house that was managed by Rent Portland Homes Darla office. I lived there through their name and address change - which was smooth sailing on the tenants side. We never had an issue with anyone in the office,. They were very prompt in responses and maintenance request. I thought their application and move in process was easy and I felt valued as a tenant. I appreciate them not being a hover management company. They did inspections but weren't always on us about everything. We liked our property and took care of it and our security deposit refund reflected that. I wished to have rented

I've had a very positive experience with Darla Andrew's Rent Portland Homes. I had quite a complicated situation with a potential renter, and Darla & her team sorted through all the issues and secured a very good rental contract. Had tenants move out of our rental house the end of April. In a couple of weeks Rent Portland Homes found us new ones! The entire staff at this business was professional and were excellent communicators. Had their handyman/contractor, Jesse, fix up the house before the new tenants moved in. Like the rest of the company, he was on it. I'd highly recommend Rent Portland Homes to other owners of rental properties. I will be using them again the next time we need to find new tenants.
