Ray's on the River is approximately one-half mile on the left, just before the Chattahoochee River. Go to the second light, Northside Drive, and then turn left. Go to the second traffic light and turn right on Powers Ferry Road.

Good day Team Rays On The River (R.O.T.R.)! I had the phenomenal pleasure of eating at Ray's on the River yesterday, January 31, 2022. The occasion was to celebrate my wife's birthday. She really wanted to eat there because we'd never eaten there before and because we'd heard great reviews about the restaurant too. Also, I just happen to be a big seafood lover so I couldn't wait! We had 2 waiters that served us. Their names were: Jake and Alvin. My wife will review Alvin and I'll review Jake. I really appreciated Jake answering our initially questions about the menu

Recently celebrated my Mom's birthday here. I will start by saying that my mom is an EXTREMELY picky eater and she absolutely LOVED the food! So much so that she did the happy dance The experience from beginning to end was so lovely. They knew our names, wished her happy birthday, even had a lovely birthday card waiting at the table for her! She got the rack of lamb, creamed corn and the key lime for dessert. The restrooms here are filthy. Perfect way to spoil your appetite. I went last night with a friend and I am shocked. I wont be returning. Super huge turn off when all of the stalls are completely nasty. Tissue every where, feces every where, and it smells terrible. The sink and counter were filthy as well. A person like me starts to think well were the plates I ate off even clean??!

First time going here last night! Birthday dinner with my best friend. I’m not a seafood person, but this was great! And the ambience is top notch. Their staff was so nice and our server, Briana, was lovely! She made the experience extra special. I got the shrimp scampi and linguini pasta and the red velvet for dessert. Definitely returning for future special events!!

I was there celebrating my bestie 50th birthday & she was so pleased. I was very happy she was & that I chose to dine there. We had reservations & was seated almost immediately. The food & drinks were excellent! The wait staff(Cedric & Shannon), were totally AWESOME! We had such a great time, we didn't want to leave. Thank you for such a great time!

The experience at Ray's on the River was phenomenal! The food was delicious, ambience was cozy and welcoming. The service provided by Randall and David was exceptional, they definitely paid attention to our table and personalized our experience. Everyone knows I'm not a fan of chains at all. Ray's, however, stands out as one of my noted exceptions. The service here is always five-star. The wait staff really goes out of their way to make sure every guest feels special and well taken care of. The food, wow, the food! I love all of their seafood offerings. Came in for a pre-theater dinner with the family and enjoyed the best dinner in a long time. Cannot express how amazing our servers were! Randal, Alvin, and Michael R., we're attentive, personable, and helpful without being overbearing. I almost forgot what great service was like! We ordered the cold seafood tower, and it did not disappoint!! It says 4-6 people, but 3 would be more realistic if you love seafood the way we do. The lobster mac was tasty, the salmon dish was big enough to split between two people, and the breads didn't last long at all!

This was our first time dining at Rays and it was a great experience. The feel inside is very warm and inviting and the views of the river awesome.
Our servers Alvin and Ryan were a great team and took care of our table all night. They did a great job letting us know about this history of the restaurant and all it had to offer. This was a great spot to take our family after a day at the Nutcracker.

I really enjoyed my time at Ray’s for Christmas Eve!! For one, the restaurant was beautifully decorated. The restaurant was busy but the staff made sure our party was seated in a timely manner. I had the pleasure of being served by Alvin and Jayla. They were amazing and made sure my meal and drinks were up to par. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience! Had the best time at Ray’s on the River for a girls night out. We were served by Alvin and Bryant the whole night who were both extremely helpful and informative about the different dishes offered as well as some nice pointers about the restaurant and what they have to offer besides dining. I was recommended by Alvin to try to horseradish grouper. I’m not a huge fish fan, but he made it sound so enticing that I had to order and i was really pleased with the way it was prepared. He also recommended the warm lemon butter cake that was *chefs kiss*. Overall, our experience was great and everything

My sweet sister invited me to accompany her family to Thanksgiving at Ray's, and I'm so grateful she did. We celebrated a wonderful holiday here and it was so special we may make it an annual tradition!
Thanksgiving was a beautiful day and we were seated by the window so we were able to enjoy the lovely view of the surrounding grounds as well as the river. Lots of families were strolling the grounds and simply being g together. After so many weird Covid holidays last year, you could feel the excitement in the air as folks came together again once more.

My husband surprised me with a date for our Anniversary.
You must to dressed out to sit by the River, if you are in Jeans, Athletic wear and tennis shoes you can only sit inside or on the top patio.
You can walk by the river after dinner but you must be dressed up for this establishment.
Food especially the mash potatoes was AWESOME.
THEY DO PERSONALIZE YOUR VISIT AND I LOVED THAT.

I dined 11/20/2021 for my birthday and I had a fabulous time. Justin and Shannon were well versed on the menu and wine list. They were both extremely attentive and made my experience ! Today was a Friday dinner date~
Opted for the Springer Mountain Farms Chicken.
Reminded me of a marsala, the mushroom jus was a little too salty, potatoes were fluffy and sticky and the chicken was perfectly tender and juicy.
Washed it down with a glass of Ghost Pines Merlot.
The wine had a much cleaner aftertaste than the Tribute Cabernet.
For dessert I got the Praline Basket:
Praline bowl, vanilla ice cream, fruit and warm caramel sauce....delish!

Ray's was everything it was mentioned to be and MORE. We were immediately greeted when we arrived and even though we arrived a little before our set reservation we were still seated. We were seated by the window with a BEAUTIFUL view of the Chattahoochee River.
