Not only do we live in a fun, eclectic, happening community, rich in artistic and cultural heritage; Asheville is also surrounded by a never-ending Smorgasbord of inviting outdoor activities. With over 30 years experience in the tour and hospitality business around the US, we decided to focus on the place we are so passionate about; our home here in Western NC, and so in 2019 we opened the doors to 828 Tours.
With so much to do, whether it's a road trip or staying local, a couple of hours, or all day; we will arrange excursions specifically to suit your needs. It might be a nice, casual walk to a beautiful waterfall, or perhaps a more challenging hike to a mountain bald. Maybe a fun day of whitewater rafting and zip lining, or just a relaxing day of floating down the river with a cooler of refreshments.
