April graduated cum laude from the Sandra Day O'Connor School of Law at Arizona State University. During law school, April pursued her interest in science and the law by serving as Associate Editor for Jurimetrics, The Journal of Law, Science, and Technology, the Official Journal for the American Bar Association § of Science & Technology Law.
