We have been working on the Franklin location for a number of years and have finally arrived! This site was permanently closed without notice on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
Members were told two days prior that they were closing for a few days to do some much needed maintenance. Two days later an email was sent out that they had permanently closed.
I had been there the day before. Had I known, I would have cleaned out my locker. I literally exchanging email messages with the local chain's director that evening. No hint this was coming. Sad.

The owner could care less about Milford and Mansfield location. Equipment is constantly broken and only gets a half-fast repair if it gets anything at all. I use this gym 6 days a week, mostly early mornings. While it has everything you need some of the equipment is in dire need of maintenance or repair. Since it is a 24 hour facility and not staffed at all hours it can also be a bit disorganized and messy in the morning from the slobs that workout overnight who also appear to be incapable of putting weights and cleaning bottles/rags away.
I want to provide an update to this review. The cleanliness has improved a lot. So much so that i view it as a non issue. I have also seen a concerted effort to police the gym and keep things in order by the staff

I definitely enjoy going to the gym there. Ive been going 6 times a week, and have really been able to push my self to the limit; it’s a friendly environment and quite environment where the people who I have ran into talking with are nice and when i have my head phones in and just want to bang out some sets it’s perfect where I can do so. I really enjoyed taking the test with the personal trainer in the beginning to know where I stood in the beginning and motivates me to push even harder to reach the goals that I want and take another test in 90 days to see where I stand next. They continued to charge me after I cancelled, then they reported my account to a collections agency and charged me for two years of service. $750. Doesn’t even make sense. I was never even notified from the gym, even though I do not owe ANY money. Also they charged me twice for my maintenance fee. Nobody on staff ever. Scam Stay Away.

I found that NRG Lab has very few classes offered at 7 pm or later. This is more of a Singles Gym, it's NOT a Working-Mom or Working-Dad Gym. So for those working parents who have limited schedules and need 7pm classes, especially yoga, bar and stress relief, like I need, you're better off going to the YMCA Foxboro, which always has 7pm classes Monday through Friday.

I'm from Nebraska and came to Milford to visit some friends. I needed a place to work out and NRG Fitness was the best place to go. The staff was amazing, very kind and inviting. I really enjoyed the turf area. I felt very comfortable especially since I'm not from the area and didn't know anyone at the gym. I'll definitely be back when I'm back in Milford!

Worst management I've ever dealt with. Previously tried this gym out and had issues with charges over 2 years ago and chose not to go back. Fast foreword and my gym merges with NRG Mansfield. I gave them a second chance but it still didn't work for me. Added my name to a very long cancellation list and was never canceled so to no surprise I was charged. I called the desk and Molly said she could not do anything about it I needed to send an email. Sent an email and got a call back a couple days later and they refunded the money and "took me out of the system". I received my refund

When I first came to the Milford NRG Lab July 2018, I requested that my membership only last for 2 months (July and August 2018) and then be terminated as I was only in Milford for the Summer. I realized that I was still being charged in September 2018 and called to cancel the membership. When I did not hear back, I assumed the membership issue had been fixed (I know, rookie mistake but you have to understand it was my first real time with a gym membership).
Not only was the membership not canceled after my call last September, I realized yesterday that I've been charged for the last 9 months

I have been going to NRG Lab in Milford since they moved in and have watched the gym grow into the great facility that it is now. The staff is always super friendly and management is great! The turf is a great addition and opens the door for a variety of active workouts that I would not be able to do without.
I am proud to be an NRG Lab member and plan on maintaining my membership there for as far into the future as I can see, at the moment.

I started here a few weeks ago doing the women's transformation 3x a week training with Evan and I love it. I have NEVER been a gym person, and usually just did videos at home but I was beginning to just go thru the motions with no results, until now. I actually look forward to going to each class, and being only 30 mins, they're over before you know it! They are definitely challenging and fast paced, and I don't think I've done the same move twice yet! I've also had a session with Jeremy who is also fantastic to work with. The gym is amazing, very clean and well kept

NRG is BY FAR the best gym I have belonged to. I have been with them for almost two years now and do not regret it a bit. There are 3 main things I love about this gym. 1- Friendly staff who actually can remember your name and make recommendations here and there to maximize your goals and experience 2- CLEANLINESS. The place is CLEAN. I have belonged to about 6 gyms over the past 10 years and this gym is the cleanest by far. Despite having some great machines I was very disappointed in my experience there. I tried the one month Groupon to see if I would like it enough to become a member. I did not feel like I was treated as well as regular members. The overall attitude of most people I met seemed very elitist. This made it difficult to feel comfortable asking questions, trying new groups and workouts. Not worth the cost just to be able to use a few fancier machines, will try FitFactory down the road.

I love the NRG Lab. I've belonged to a few different gyms in different states from moving around, and NRG Lab is by far my favorite. The facility is always clean, the equipment is new, and all the staff members are friendly and professional. I always feel welcome when I walk in the door.
I started training with Ryan when I joined in the summer of 2016 and I always have a tough but fun workout session. I've never been a class person, but I've been taking more and more classes here because the classes are challenging and the instructors are great.

Amazing amazing amazing! I bought the 10 day Groupon for when I was back home for Christmas and I can't say enough good things about this place. Lisa at the front remembered me after the first day. She is so sweet and you can tell all the members love her! The classes here are great and everything is always so clean in the regular side of the gym. The smoothie bar was also amazing! Such a great gym that the south shore really needs. I wish I could buy temporary memberships for when I come home...management if you're reading this, please consider!

Great facility. Great group class schedule. Equipment is up to date and the locker rooms are always clean. I realize that this gym is more expensive than others in the area, but I feel the added cost is worth it. I've been a member here for several months and I have not experienced a single issue. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for an adults-only space.

I'd like to start off with the good things about this gym. It's super super clean and you actually see this woman cleaning it throughout your workout so you know it really is that clean. Love that they have towels for you to use during the workout. They have free wifi. The equipment is all new and in great condition. The facility itself is very nice. But, I came in with a groupon that was a gift but I figured that if I liked it after a month I would get a membership. Just joined here last week. Nice gym but, one of my 1st questions is cell phone in gym and cell phone useage during classes. "Oh that never happens here" we just mentioned in our news letter no cell phone in Classes. Ist week during 3 spin classes i took it is over the top crazy with cell phone useage. One women beside me took 2 phone calls during class and started talking while walking out of class. She was also texting or emailing during class, very distracting. I'm dissapionted

Nice facility. For the price, the nearby North Attleboro YMCA is just as lovely at a fraction of NRG Lab's costs... Plus you're not locked into a pricey year-long commitment.
For what it's worth, NRG Lab does give you a cold towel at the end of your spin class and you can check your Facebook page on the elliptical machine :/
