Breakwater Fish & Lobster Market
Our award-winning broiled or fried seafood is available for takeout or stay and sit at our beautiful open-air cafe. We are on the Cape Cod Rail Trail Bike path. Our fish is the freshest around. It's right off the boat, and you can always find seasonal favorites in stock. Come in and ask about Yellowfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Halibut, Cod, Haddock, Clams, Quahogs, Little Necks, Oysters, Lobster Meat, Mussels and more.

Come check out our newest creations on the Discovery Menu. We are playing with flavors to find some new favorites. Try our mussels steamed in white wine and other goodness finished with either tomatoes or pesto or our grilled portobello mushroom "burger" topped with a seared seasoned tofu slab, tomato relish, and sunflower seeds on a warm brioche bun or our daily soup offering.
Services
Native Cape Codder, Curt Collias, the owner of Breakwater, is also a seafood wholesaler to many local markets and restaurants. This provides Breakwater Fish and Lobster Market and Breakwater Take-Out Cooked Seafood with a unique advantage. We've been going here for years, and last week we stopped in for some salmon for dinner.
Baked haddock topped with shredded fried potato and roasted garlic served with sauteed fresh vegetables. Grilled portobello mushroom topped with tomato relish, crispy seasoned tofu, and sunflower seeds served on a grilled brioche bun or double the mushroom and skip the bun for a vegan option.

Your choice of salmon, swordfish, cod, shrimp or scallops grilled and served over a bed of brown rice and sauteed fresh vegetables finished with either balsamic glaze, teriyaki or lemon caper sauce.Sashimi grade fish marinated in our own poke sauce blend and served over a bed of brown rice; with edamame, seaweed salad, mango pineapple salsa; Asian-style slaw, with fresh cucumber & avocado slices.

Very nice place to eat after a long bike ride. The portobello burger was a very good choice and had alot of flavor. The oysters were super fresh and tasted great. They had a nice seating areas with picnic tables. They also have a full seafood market inside the store.

Went here for a quick lunch. We had the seafood platter, Fried Oysters, and a salmon burger. All were very very good. I gave this 5 stars and if you look at my review history I don't hand out 5 stars very often.

Pricey road side take-out / outdoor eating in fish market / eatery. Nice enough venue for post beach dinner though. Family of 4 . Fish & Chips and Lobster roll. Fish & Chip....should really be called fish fillet with fries. Nicely cooked. Lobster roll....wife enjoyed it and said there was above average amount of lobster. Not sure it was worth the $35.

Maybe it was an off night as your reviews are typically very good. We ordered 3 lobster dinner specials tonight. The kid on the phone had no idea what sides were available or even how to substitute as your menu shows. Well it turns out we received no sides today. I'm all about supporting small business but for 40$ for a 1 1/4lb lobster take out dinner it better be as described. I know finding good help is impossible but alittle quality control goes a long way.

Was a yummy place to stop for lunch. Cute little spot to sit. Pricey for the small portions, especially the tofu poke that was the same price as tuna or salmon poke, and only a tiny piece of tofu. Good amount of tasty fries with the sandwiches. Swordfish sandwich was kinda dry tasting. Plenty of menu options including vegetarian.

Good option if you do not want to wait on line at a restaurant. Do not rely on pricing on website as everything is more expensive than stated. Lobster roll is $30, side fries are $6 and $8 for clam chowder, fish and chips at $20. Meal was better than JTs.

I have been a few times over the last 5 years and they are still providing excellent service and unbelievable fresh seafood. I got the sea bass to grill and it was wonderful!
Another time we got lunch and got the oysters, shrimp cocktail and the tuna poke. Just amazing and fulfills your seafood fix you need with high level of quality and freshness.
Looking forward to going back for more l!

When you decide to pull the trigger on Fried Clams at today's prices, you really want them to be great and Breakwater delivered! Nice light batter and tasty. The onion rings had an excellent light, puffy batter. The fish sandwich was great. The grilled scallop bowl was excellent. The folks there kept the tables sanitized and they were patient with people trying to decide on what to order. They were nice people.

I don’t know how good the food is here but I called about ordering cooked lobster takeout for the next day and was treated very rudely. I saw an ad in a magazine so didn’t think it was an odd request. It didn’t merit being treated that way.

The food was very fresh and the staff were friendly. The seating area was nice and shaded. Pricey, but delicious seafood. I'm interested their clam bake option.
