Szechuan Delight

I’d really give it a 4 1/2 but you don’t give that option. This is really a great place for takeout. The food is so good and the service is efficient. One thing - the lo mein in too dry. You really need to add more sauce

We have gotten take out from this restaurant a number of times. Unfortunately, the food is very bland and even the spicy dishes have no flavor! I hate giving a bad review but will not return until we hear they have salted and spiced up their food.

Szechuan Delight is the best Chinese restaurant in the Northeast.
Professional restaurant and delicious food. We went there all through the rough day’s of covid that had us on edge. And Mike at Szechuan was a pillar of community stability. Maintaining open with fresh and delicious food. We continue to budget a few nights a week to order food because it is so satisfying, nutritious and delicious.
Szechuan Delight is a national and local hero!!

We absolutely love Szechuan delight, we have been going there for many years. Always consistent and always fresh! My most favorite dish is general tso's chicken and the dumplings yummy!

First thing. If you order an entree expecting a side of rice, YOU WILL NOT GET IT. Rice must be ordered separately, which I've never encountered before. The person answering the phone was curt, bordering on rude. The egg drop soup did not come with wonton crunchies. The bag had only soy sauce and no hot mustard or duck sauce. The food itself was adequate, but the hunan beef was not even approaching spicy. I was thoroughly unimpressed.

I wish the owners was much more pleasant and accommodating to people of color I’m just now leaving the restaurant my second trip within a week and it’s the same exact pushed and looked down on treatment, I’m new to the area working across the street so I wanted to try their food so I walked in the gentleman was very rushing and no patient enough to let me look at the menu, I placed my order sat down and observed while he catered to other customers in a much more pleasant way than he did to me, they were greater so nice and welcoming than I was no very surprised but at least not show it, my

Very disappointed in a place that normally delivers good food. Tonight I ordered shrimp lo mein and received a box of cold noodles. No shrimp. No vegetables. No sauce. No taste. I also ordered beef with ginger and scallions. The grilled onions, which made up 90% of the order, were tasty but “where’s the beef”? No where to be found in this dish. To top off this disaster, the fortune cookie had no fortune in it. It will be awhile before I go back. Maybe they’re too busy to check and make sure orders are correct and complete.

Covid era review: this small take out only shop did a fantastic job on an incredibly busy Christmas eve. They were slammed with orders, but handled the business efficiently -- calling out orders by last four digits of phone number to the masked crowd waiting outside. My food was excellent and there were no errors even though half the dishes were off-menu customized.
They did a great job on a tough night. And they took Covid precautions very seriously keeping themselves and their customers safe.
The food was very good and of course, the portions were large -- an excellent value.
