Stories unfold, and so do our lives. And yet, grappling with the normal questions and challenges of being human can, at times, become overwhelming. Stories have themes and patterns. The same is true of our lives. You don't have to stay stuck in habitual patterns that don't serve you. Through thoughtful exploration and practice you can create a new storyline and build a life of greater freedom and possibility.

We are a growing community of licensed counselors, with a variety of backgrounds, specialties, interests, and stories of our own, serving individuals and couples in our local community (Lynden and the surrounding area within Whatcom County) and through out Washington State (via telehealth). But we believe that reaching out and finding a therapist who feels like a good fit, is an important first step in your journey towards health and healing.
Services
As the founder of Storyline Counseling & Wellness, and a clinically Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Washington, I feel deeply honored to be invited into peoples unique stories, helping them to listen to and sort through the heartbreak, shame, disappointment, and failure that they might be feeling.
I believe counseling offers an opportunity for growth, connection, and a deeper understanding of our relationships to self and others. Our stories are complex, unique, important, and at times, difficult to make sense of. It can be useful to have a non-judgmental and compassionate space to be seen and heard in our fear, confusion, and uncertainties.
Get the care you need with only a few clicks, and enjoy the freedom and flexibility of meeting with your therapist online via video appointment. It is also easy to set up and a great option for treatment for teens, individuals, and couples. You can use your smart phone or computer webcam to connect with us online from the comfort and safety of your home, car, office, or any other private location.
Life brings seasons of both ease and challenge, confidence and uncertainty. It can be difficult to navigate the ebb and flow, no matter our age, life experience, or situation. We all experience significant transitions, questions about identity and purpose, and seasons of change or feeling stuck. Perhaps you feel you should have figured everything out by this point in your life.
Adolescence and young adulthood is often a chapter in our life in which we are told that it "should" be the most fun, exciting, and inspiring time of our lives. But then why does it feel so stressful, confusing, lonely, and sometimes downright hopeless?.

During this season of life it is not untypical to feel a lot of pressure, as you are challenged with transitions like leaving your family of origin, coming face to face with overwhelming life choices, and often times facing traumas of your childhood for the first time.
