Didn’t tell us there were no phones, wi-if, or TV until we got to our room (after their check-in system was also down and delayed our check-in). Got to walk back down to the desk to confirm they have no services, no ETA on when they’ll be up, and no options for us other than leaving. We left.

Terrible hotel. The valet staff were extremely rude and have no respect for anyone or even the bike lane they just stand in. I just saw two cyclists get run into while in their own lane. All the brute valet drivers had to say was “brick wall buddy”. A terrible sight to see. All the other Hispanic and black valets actually worried about the cyclists that has just gotten hit but the only large sized white male, the one who ran into both of the cyclists, didn’t offer any help or bothered on checking on the people he had just hit when he was the one in their lane. If they hire people like that

Our stay started with Syndy and Nick helping execute 13 rooms for our company retreat. The staff was amazing and made sure everyone got their welcome letter and helped me get everyone in with so much easy. Eddy our bellman was so nice and took his time loading and unloading all of our luggage and keeping it safe downstairs.
The rooms are were at perfect temperature and there isn’t really a bad view from the hotel.
Great stay !

Little disappointed. No decent restaurants open. Ventilation in bathroom was lacking. 'Continental breakfast' was just a coffee bar.
Coffee was good and the people were nice but for $300+ I expected something better.

Just OK. Rooms really showing their age. My suite, the Executive Suite, was poorly cleaned. Hair in the tub, toilet. Wiped down many surfaces and handles to find a lot of grime stuck on the wipe. Ick.

This was my second time staying here. Liked it so much first time, so we came back. We came down for my Birthday weekend! From the moment we walked in everyone was smiling and very friendly! 😊
The room was clean and loved the view! I hope whoever owns Hotel Commonwealth is as good to their staff as they were to us! Thank you for a memorable stay, we will be back again! 👍

Overall a great 4-star stay...nice service, well located, good view of Fenway, and good value. Only complaint...$58 per night for parking is very steep, though consistent with the neighborhood.

We were looking for something central in Boston, near BU, and easy walking distance to restaurants and sights. Commonwealth was great for this at a reasonable price. Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming.

Great stay! Location was perfect for us to catch a Red Sox game. Literally less than a 5 minute walk. A few restaurants & bars nearby. The bed was one of the comfiest beds we've ever stayed on at a hotel. Staff was really nice and accommodating. Definitely would return!

From start to finish the staff is very accommodating and wanting to make sure our every need was met. Helpful with places to go, room service, convenient parking garage. The room was meticulous, larger than most rooms. I loved the bathroom and the views from our window. We will definitely be back.

Great hotel located above the Kenmore station on the green line.
Perfect location if you are visiting the area or Boston University. Ask for a view of Fenway Park..
Service is great friendly and nice.
Rooms are clean and comfortable.
They have a workout center available 24 hours on third floor. This place is in walking distance to Fenway park .
I have stayed at a few place near here and this is the best. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are nice.

The staff is the experience. We enjoyed our room to the fullest; we loved the personality of the building, the local community; and the staff personality and efficacy. They quickly responded with my late night bedding/allergy, early morning coffee, AND multi-day package receptions. LOVED BOSTON; Fenway, limited shopping, restaurants, and the pub across the way...

Good place, nice rooms, pretty good service, but they really shouldn't charge a "resort fee" when most/all of said "resort" services are currently unavailable. It kind of feels scam-y and I won't be staying there again because of it.

I found Hotel Commonwealth via Booking.com and booked it primarily due to its proximity to Northeastern University.

The property is well located in the city and literally across the street from Fenway. It definitely has an upscale boutique type feel throughout, from the front desk to the lobby and room decor. Our group ended up in two different types of rooms - one party of two in a king suite and a party of 3 in a double queen room (Fenway view). Both rooms were well appointed and spacious with comfortable beds and room temps. The bathrooms were clean, modern, and were stocked with very nice

My wife and I stayed here Oct 4-5. We arrived fairly late, around 10:00, and were greeted at the desk by Nick. While our room was excellent and very clean, Nick was the highlight of our stay.

We were greeted with kindness and enthusiasm, offered snacks and a Keurig coffee machine! We were given his card, to call directly, should we need anything. In short, the best customer service we could ask for!

We have stayed there in the past, but because of Nick, we will always make an effort to stay there in the future when in Boston.

Highly recommended.

We thought we would splurge a bit after getting engaged that weekend, and found a pretty good deal for a suite. For a 4 star hotel, this did NOT deliver. When you walked in it seemed ok, but...no coffee, no bathrobes, subpar cleanliness, subpar service. You have to call the front desk to get a keurig delivered to your room, which took forever. At first a staff member just showed up with nothing and we had to tell him we had requested the coffee maker.

Went to the hotel bar in the basement and there was a mouse running around. That didn't even phase me...New England basements in winter have

The Hotel Commonwealth has everything you are going to need for your visit to Boston.

Extremely professional staff and a VERY CLEAN HOTEL.

This is a high end hotel with REASONABLE PRICES. It is a much better value and location compared to Faneuil Hall, Downtown or Financial District hotels. Also better than the "name brands" of Marriott, Westin, Hyatt, etc. Those brands may be great in other cities, but strongly suggest you stay here instead.

Located next to a T stop, numerous restaurants (Eastern Standard, Cornwalls), Fenway Park, Newbury Street, numerous Universities.

Booked this hotel through a 3rd party travel company. Upon arrival I was told that my husband and would be in a 2 Queen room. I was confused as I thought I had booked King room. The hotel said they could not guarantee a King room if the booking wasn't done directly through the hotel. However, I asked if there was any way we could get a King room and the front desk person actually was really nice about it and tried to find a way to fix it. In the end he ended up getting us a king room with no additional cost which was very nice.

The hotel itself is in a pretty good location. Close enough to

Ah I wish I could give more stars to this hotel. My husband and I spent Christmas in Boston with my family, and booked two nights at Hotel Commonwealth after finding a terrific deal for the Executive Suite. There are also two restaurants on the premises so I was excited.

Oh arrival, valet took care of our car and we proceeded to check in, which went smoothly. We stayed on the fourth floor and the room was spacious and had a beautiful view. I looked at the room service menu, which was more extensive than most, and saw that the food is from the Eastern Standard restaurant.

Our suite had a full
