The olive branch has always been symbol of peace and reconciliation, beginning with the Biblical account given in Genesis 8:11, where a dove returns to Noah's ark bearing an olive branch as a sign that the Flood was subsiding. Olive branches were also symbols of peace in Ancient Greece and Rome, and they continue to be used in various works of art to suggest peace.
A Substance Abuse Assessment is required by law if you are convicted of a drug charge, you test positive for drugs while on probation, if you are in possession of alcohol under age, if you assault someone under the influence of alcohol and drugs, and if you are charged with possession of drugs and/or paraphernalia.
Our Anger Management Curriculum is a 12-hour course and is guided by a workbook from the National Anger Management Association (NAMA). The assessment consists of a face-to-face interview between the client and a counselor, along with a self-assessment. The assessment will take approximately one hour and the fee is $100.
Our counselors are among the best trained, most compassionate clinicians in the area. Our therapists are a mix of Masters-Level therapists with LCAS, CSW, and CSAC credentials, and are Certified Clinical Supervisors. We are fortunate to network with so many wonderful clients, families, attorneys, probation officers, doctors, therapists, treatment centers, community services, department of social services, and with our schools and university.
A: There is a $100 State Mandated fee for each DWI charge. This fee includes the required Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) - you should not pay more than a $100 per assessment to any provider - if you do - that's fraudulent on their behalf. A: Having completed your DWI Assessment will remove 1 of your mitigating factors against your charge.

Rude and not understanding. Most topics did not relate to helping you heal and move forward. The staff seem to be a bit of a bully and controller.

I used champs to obtain an e508 form to restore my drivers license when I was an out of state resident. The staff were extremely friendly, and able to accommodate my needs in a very small window of time. They were responsive, communicative, and strait forward. Thank you Champs!

My initial experience was great, upon submission of my E508 form by Champ's but two years later I needed the dates of my physical attendance of my counseling. The individual I spoke to is beyond rude and tried to belittle me and make is seems like I don't have knowledge of my own affairs I was highly offended..... I am so appalled by the customer service I must write reviews on Angie's list and the better business bureau

Although I've not used Champs' services, I've had a large number of clients who have. Champs provides effective counseling, personal service, and instructional guidance to clients. With years of experience in substances abuse and addiction counseling as well as the court system, Champs should be your first stop for service.

Based on my experience with champs if you are a NC resident trying to settle a VA DUI. I would not suggest using this provider they say that they are VASAP approved but the counselor has either an unwillingness or no knowledge to help you settle your case. The counselor was argumentative, aggressive and very unprofessional. They do not want to discuss or verify any information or paperwork you may have, if your case does not fit into their box they will become agitated and talk over you. If you need a drug and alcohol center that wants to help you succeed and regain your drivers license, not treat
