I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor - with an office in Mebane, North Carolina. In my full-time job, I am a Professor within the Counselor Education Program at North Carolina Central University (NCCU), a CACREP-accredited counselor education program.
In April of 2021, I moved office locations. I move from South Fourth Street to East Center Street, just one block from my previous location. My new office location is in the 5-Star Building in downtown Mebane. In some places, you will see "LCMHCS", and in others you will see "LPCS". They changed the license from "LPCS" (Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor) to "LCMHCS" (Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor).

Services
I have over 25 years of experience in the counseling field, getting my first job in a private mental hospital in 1993. Since that time, I have worked in public and private mental health settings, an elementary school, and as a director of a non-profit organization. Between 2000 and 2008, I maintained a private practice in Mebane -- seeing a variety of clients.
I have been providing videoconference supervision services to provisionally-licensed counselors since 2011 - and am reasonably well-experienced with the technology necessary to provide this type of service. There are some things (software and hardware) that you will need to have to be able to receive telehealth counseling.
