There is no such thing called "Equity" and "Fairness" that exists in Darla's business model.
If home owner make a mistake then he needs to pay for it. If Darla make any mistake then also home owner needs to pay for it.
In our case tenant did break the lease and did not pay the lease breaking fee. Please notice that the tenant did not pay it because Darla's staff made a mistake in accounts and did not charge them and not because the tenant had any financial difficulty.
When we asked about it to the staff they said that they are not responsible for this mistake and entire loss we need to bear

We are thankful having Rent Portland Homes as our property management company. The communication is good and I feel that we as the landlords are treated fairly and so as the tenants. It is comforting to have somebody constantly checking the conditions of our units and responding to the tenants’ need as well promptly. Having mentioned my experiences with Rent Portland Homes after my first few months with the company, my neighbor decided to go with them as well to manage his property.

If you don't have time to run your rental side business, or if you are not the type of person to deal with this kind of work, you can rely on this management company to do it for you. They are great, very responsive all the time when I needed to contact the tenants, or to do work on the property. I highly recommend them. They found reliable tenants, and that helped a lot. I used them for more than 10 years, since I became a landlord, and they helped me a lot with the rental. I have only positive things to add about their business.
