Stayed here 3 weekdays in October. The prices here were better than the Red Roof Inn at only $63 per room. The rooms were clean and quiet. The pools were very nice, and the ocean view was beautiful. The mini fridge in our room was larger than others we’ve stayed in before. I’d definitely stay again.

Oct 20-22. Front desk Personnel were very friendly and professional.
Rooms were clean and very decorative. Plenty of Pools and Hot Tubs and even an indoor heated pool.
The moon was full Thursday night
and it shined across the water and into our balcony that night very beautiful. Of course it shined into other people's balconies also LOL
Security was good as we saw them all the time during the evening.
I would definitely visit in the future.

Great location. Parking garage on the site. Clean and nice rooms. Unfortunately rooms does not has a kitchen as a many Myrtle Beach hotels and also rooms does not has even microwave, I believe that is a big cons. I wanna say thank you to management for warm water in swimming pools even outdoor poos was heated in November. Great indoor hot tub.

Upon our arrival we were greeted by friendly staff that made our check in seamless. We were surprised when we got to our room as it seems we were given a free upgrade to an oceanfront view and poolside efficiency room. We found the beds to be comfortable and the shower to be warm. The kitchen came fully equipped and the TV had lots of channels go pick from. I am leaving 4 stars because the fitness center and pools were not as nice as the rooms. I am excited to see what the future renovations will bring to this great hotel.

We stayed in an Oceanfront Room. The room was nice and clean, our house keeper was very nice too. The location and view of the hotel is amazing. There are several nice restaurants/shops within 15-min walking distance. Outdoor pools are nice. The hotel exterior is outdated, and the parking lot is very tight with a weird structure. During our check-in, the front office staff was not very communicative/friendly. It is not an upscale place but we had a good vacation for the money we paid.

I really enjoy going to this resort with my family. It's actually pretty close to home so the travel time is not as bad. And the Hotel amenities are so lovely the children Love The Lazy River and the pool. They also offer so many other accommodation and family-friendly things to do. I love that it's right off of the beach and it doesn't take much for us to go down to the water and experience a little fun in the Sun. So far I haven't had any trouble with parking while down there and it's just been a exhilarating experience and we will be visiting more often.

Came here with a girlfriend for a quick 4 day getaway. Our room was not ready in the late morning thus we went out for lunch at Broadway at the Beach and walked around for a couple of hours. Check in was pretty simple and we were directed to a quick timeshare sales pitch however we declined and went straight to our room. The parking garage is very tight but manageable. The property is old and worn out. The hallways to the rooms smelly musty. The room and bathroom was clean however the walls/ceiling need a paint job. We had an oceanfront room on the 3rd floor and the views of Myrtle Beach are beautiful

As of the last day of my four night stay, I’d like to say that this has been a great retreat. We had an oceanfront one-bedroom condo and the ocean view is amazing. The room is clean and the staff very friendly. I’m not sure if we were assigned to an upgraded condo, but the furniture, especially the sofas, look decent. Kitchen is small but serves well for most of our meals during pandemic. Parking was easy and convenient. The location is great. We will come again.

We stayed at this property the last week in July 2021. When we booked we believed that we booked a condo and when we arrived we were given a two bedroom hotel room with no balcony. We are frequent visitors to the Avista resort which is a sister property to the grand shores Ocean Resort so we expected the same quality of facilities and we were very very sorely disappointed. This property is incredibly ill kept. The hot tub's were filthy the water was actually tan. One of the hot tub's had one of the lights hanging out with wires showing and even when we pointed it out to management they

My co worker and I just checked in yesterday. We actually walked into the wrong hotel (Horizon) by accident since the parking garage was next to each other. Walking into the Horizon hotel we were very impressed by clean, updated and friendly staff. THEN I realized we were in the wrong hotel upon trying to check in.
I then headed over to the Grande Shore hotel which was the definition of the opposite. Upon checking, the front desk clerk was interrupted by two different phone calls which were complaints from other tenets.

Going up to the room we got a perfect view of the parking garage from

Gosh, I love this place. The staff is above and beyond! We had an issue with the stovetop and someone was up in minutes and fixed it. We are in a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchen and it is clean and huge. The indoor pool is ok, but the ground door outdoor pool and 7th floor pool, hot tubs and lazy river are all marvellous! I don't want to leave!

If it was possible to give zero stars I would. This place is disgusting. The common areas are filthy, the staff is rude and non-responsive, the parking deck parking spaces are so ridiculously small it's impossible to pull out of if someone else is pulling in.

Now to the rooms: the rooms are DIRTY. I question whether or not anyone vacuums the carpet as I found dead cockroaches on the floor and in the bathtub of my room. The mattress, the sheets and pillows are of the lowest quality and do not justify the exorbitant price charged for the room. I understand this is Myrtle beach but this was

The Grande Shores Ocean Resort is anything but a Resort. Upon check-in, the lobby was roughly the temperature of outside and matched for humidity. However, though I checked in early, my room was ready before noon (hence is why I gave them the one star).

The Room: Walking up to my room, I was greeted by the beautiful Souther Carolinian parking garage, that this "Resort" was built around. Upon arrival at my room, I immediately noticed trash residing along the walkway. After entering the room, it felt like your typical Holiday Inn or Motel 6, that is, it was not spectacular, but it had

My husband and I decided to have a weekend getaway and judging from the pictures on Grande Shores' website, it looked like a wonderful place to stay. Boy, were we mistaken!

First, we were on the 4th floor and was told that we could get to our room from the parking garage. We assumed that meant there was a connecting hallway to the rooms. Not so! As you can see from the attached pics, you could see everyone's door from the parking garage. This didn't set too well with us, but decided it would be fine. Then, as we started walking to our room, we were shocked at the huge display

We come here every year. The accomadations are nice, they have all the usual stuff, pool, lazy river, etc. They grill hamburgers & hotdogs by the pool, but they are pricey for what you get. Did Dollar Tacos on Wednesday. This is where they messed up. I don't know if it was our waitress or the kitchens fault. Took waaaaaaaay too long for just a few tacos, tasted like Old El Paso seasoning. The breakfast buffet is pretty good. Overall, a great place to stay. Plenty of better places to eat.

This is an extremely hard review to make because the location and amenities were good. However, the problem lies with how clean the facility is and housekeeping. If you need a place to hide your valuables, look no further than under your bed. It is very evident that housekeeping never cleans under the beds here. We lost a set of keys and looked under the bed and immediately wished I had not because there was enough trash underneath the bed to fill 2 small bags.
When we checked into the room, the tile floors were disgusting with dried dirt and stains from the previous vacationers. We had to buy

The hotel is fine. It serves its purpose and the location is great. But, every night we were there, people set off fireworks at 1, 2am, whatever time they pleased. The guests were all very loud and rude at all times of night too. So maybe it doesn't draw the nicest crowd here.

As far as cleaning, our room wasn't serviced one day and we didn't get the bed set up we had paid for which was annoying. The elevators are slow and the common areas are very stinky. It was definitely a mediocre place at best.

Since winter seems determined to stick around, I grabbed the kids for a road trip to warmer shores.
I found Grande Shores Resort in-line and took a shot. I was skeptical especially after checking other reviews but was pleasantly surprised.

I am glad we got a partial ocean view as that seemed to put us in a location with less overall noise and the view was great.

I wanted pools, hot tubs, beach access, a kitchen and some room to spread out. Essential when traveling with a small army - ok 3 teens and 1 pre-teen. I checked home rentals and nothing was in my budget range.

However, I was able to

Seems more like a motel. The only thing great about my family's stay here, was the view. Our room was very dirty, and there was a pair of underwear in the hallway. We saw a lot of dust on the walls and ceilings, the head boards had dirt on them, tile grout was filthy black, carpet was old, and the room reeked of cigarette smoke. There was also roaches in our room, and the blankets on the bed smelled like they were never washed. We planned on staying at the resort for a week, but checked out the morning after we checked in. We never even bothered unpacking. The resort needs some serious cleaning
