My friend and i stayed for one night. The room was more than what we expected. Living room, kitchen, balcony, two really comfortable bed. But the Upstairs... Wow it was good. That night was really cold but the area was heated. Even if you're not staying at the hotel you're welcome to dine in at Upstairs. Friendly staff, good food.

We have stayed here 4 times now and it’s our go-to favorite boutique hotel in NYC! Service by the bellman and all of the guys who greet you outside is top notch…they are so warm and inviting! Definitely the best service. Front desk staff is mediocre and not always very warm and friendly. Kind of cold and stiff compared to the doorman/bellhop etc. The housekeeping department is quick, friendly, helpful and so very efficient! This hotel is beautiful, cozy, comfortable and has wonderful amenities as well as the largest rooms with kitchenettes and balconies we have found in the city. The location

The hotel is quaint and rooms are decent. It is the staff that I would watch out for!!! The employees at the rooftop bar like to steal people's coats and purses. And when you ask security to look at footage to see who took an item, they won't! Management is useless and apparently The Kimberly Hotel is a front for customers' stolen merchandise which is probably being sold online somewhere. If you go to this establishment, please watch your belongings, the employees and staff are thieves and will go to any length to cover up their crimes.

Porter refused to wear a mask even when I handed him one. No one on staff made him either.
No one told us when our car was brought from the lot so we sat around for half an hour waiting while it was already parked outside and then they couldn’t find the keys to it. The manager had to help with our bags because no one on staff would.

Stayed at The Kimberly Hotel right after Christmas. Was greeted by a friendly doorman and staff at check in. The Executive Suite was beautiful and so spacious. We have stayed in many NYC hotels and this was by far the roomiest and best staff. The rooftop garden restaurant was beautiful and offered a lovely atmosphere to have a cup of coffee and cocktail in the evening. The location is ideal with easy walking distance to Central Park, Bryant Park, Times Square, 5th Avenue, Grand Central Station. The hotel is so lovely but truly what made our stay so special was the staff. We felt like we were "coming

A coat is missing 4 minutes after closing and no other patrons in the place and it's not your fault? An employee obviously stole the jacket, and management is complicit in covering it up.
Absolutely not worth spending any time in a place where your things can just be stolen and management just shrugs.

The Kimberley is my regular spot in Manhattan. I’ll carefully say that for me - It’s perfect, and I’m very picky. The service is impeccable and remind old times when manners meant something for real. It’s old school in the good sense of the word. Also: The rooms are sweet, and welcoming and even the food is great.

Beyond spectacular. From Lola, the reservations manager to Jose, the incredibly energetic and extremely customer service-oriented door manager, my gosh, it doesn't get any better. The room was beyond spotless and was just great in all regard. The housekeeper was really friendly too. Nice location. Wow!

Stayed in a suite, which was lovely. Compact and expensive but good for NYC. We needed the sofa bed and a rollaway for the kids. Bathroom is spacious. Love the old world charm. The living room and bedroom doors close, separated by a small entryway with a closet. It is here that there is a closeted wet bar, microwave and small refrigerator. Ideal for making tea/coffee. Slippers/robes/umbrellas provided. The jetted tub is a small bathtub, not a jacuzzi tub. Yes there is a shower curtain, so yes it smells. Bath products were great. The balcony is nasty, see photo. Don’t be misled by the hotel photos

A classic hotel. We stayed in one of the Executive Suites. Very comfortable, spacious room. A lovely roof garden where we ate breakfast and we had dinner at the Empire Steakhouse adjacent to the hotel. The staff was very accommodating and provided excellent service. The bookcase had an interesting selection. I found an edition of the complete works of Katherine Anne Porter.

I joined my best friend for an overnight stay at this boutique hotel. We started on the roof deck for appetizers and drinks before retiring to our suite.
The food was great. Creative drinks and great music! Service was great from the hostess, waitstaff to the bellman and concierge everyone was friendly, courteous!
The room was beautiful! The bed was super comfy! I loved the balcony with seating outside. One of best accessories were the L'OCCITANE soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. I will be back!

Outstanding place - rooftop bar with the. New York skyline as its back drop just makes all others come up short. We must say Hector at the main entrance made our experience even better as we made our way to the roof. Staff and bartenders were on there game - DJ was really good - just an all around nice place for a get together for drinks.
Thank you staff

This hotel was beautiful and the service was amazing! I recently stayed six nights and was so glad I chose this hotel.
I booked a one bedroom, two bed suite. The room was large, nicely appointed, and had a great balcony with a good view. It came with a full sized fridge, dishwasher, and dishes, silverware, and glassware were provided. Despite Covid, housekeeping came each day while we were out of our room. I expected the bathroom to be larger, but whatever.
The biggest surprise of the room, I think, was the pull out bed. I had intended to sleep in one of the beds in the bedroom, but the first

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a staycation at The Kimberly Hotel in NYC. This stay was exactly what I needed to rejuvenate my mind, body, and soul. Great views and even better service. The room and building were spotless, disinfected, and COVID compliant.
What i enjoyed most was the beautiful layout of the room which made me feel right at home. You would be hard pressed to find views like this WITH a balcony anywhere else.
Although I wouldn't recommend ordering the chicken tenders or calamari off of the room service menu, I definitely enjoyed the breakfast options! I will absolutely

Awesome hotel with amazing staff.
My wife and I celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary on thanksgiving 2020. The gentleman on the front desk was the nicest guy you could meet.
He remembered taking my booking on the phone and wished us both a happy anniversary.
After detecting my English accent and discussing Football for a while he told us to go up-to the roof when we were settled in.
We had the most beautiful suit with amazing views and when we arrived at the roof we were greeted by Zoran our bartender with a glass of complimentary champagne. Due to the Covid pandemic we were the only guests

It's the place for old elegance, modern amenities. Marble and brass from a bygone era, with updated amenities like rainfall showerheads & microwaves in each room. The staff is 100% customer friendly and the meals in both the penthouse terrace breakfast room and the first floor restaurant were excellent. They have an on-site concierge.
We loved having our morning eggs, french toast or yogurt in the enclosed terrace where gratuities were already included. The coffee was good, the service was pleasant and whatever you wanted was included in their buffet. Eggs or omelettes were made to order

I Absolutely Loveeeee this Hotel!! They know me by name. We visit at least 4-5x a year and for the 2nd year in a row we will be spending Christmas here. Last year we were upgraded to the Presidential Suite. Absolutely gorgeous! Very nice Parisian vibe. I love antiques and the french ambience here. The beds are super comfortable, Space is bigger than my own NYC apt. (Yup, Im a local) That is the bonus. Huge floor plans with a balcony.
Cons: My only complaints are that the T.V's are dated. They are so old my children cannot hook up their PS4 console. My husband tried everything. Also, the construction
