Came in to get a simple haircut was not told it would take over 2 hours to cut 4 people hair that werent even there but had apparently set an appointment. When i walked in there was only 2 people in the store and i was told i could sit and wait. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time so i could just go somewhere else. Customer service here is non existant. Did not even get my haor cut after waiting 2 hours she still was calling other people before me. The woman here should be disciplined and im going to be calling tomorrow morning to find out why this was the service i recieved. Probably

I can't complain about Daisy's service. This is the second time I came to Daisy and plan on going to her more! She is in a great area of Berkeley and her shop is a vibrant space.
She is quick yet efficient. The haircut chains (Supercuts, GreatClips) are not as efficient and definitely not as good (and a little pricey). She is a lovely person to chat with too. Men's haircut is $20 which is a decent price for the bay area. Don't forget to tip your local hairstylists! They also have a punchcard as well!

Great haircuts, friendly staff! I asked Daisy for suggestions on my desired haircut and she gave me honest and helpful input, no hard sell for additional services. I'm definitely going back.
Parking was easy in the small lot in front of the shop at 10 a.m. on a Friday.
A bit hard to find if driving. Look for the building with the Taqueria on the street and the word Haircuts painted on the building. The door for University Hair Care faces the parking lot, just behind the Taqueria.

University Hair Care will be my new go to for haircuts!! I arrived 10 minutes earlier than my scheduled appointment and Daisy was able to start the cut right away! The haircut was absolutely great. Very good fade and for a very good price(which I value as a college student). I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

I really wanted this hair salon to work. It was super clean and affordable and they seemed to be taking Covid restrictions super seriously. I totally got my hair messed up and it's too short to salvage now, I'll have to grow it out before I can get a rescue cut. I wanted a simple a line bob, but got an asymmetrical bob instead. When she cut off the 10inches of hair I grew out over the pandemic she didn't section it but just used a pair clippers and as a result there is a massive hole in the back of my head where my hair should be. My hair was all different lengths when I got home

I had heard good things about Daisy so I called an made an appointment for 11am on a Monday (holiday weekend). The salon was roped off so only individuals with appointments could enter and the door was kept wide open throughout.
Daisy had me in and out in 20 minutes! I have the classic quarantine long hair and was long overdue for a trim and some fresh, face framing layers.
Only $25 for a women's haircut and it looks great. Would definitely go again.

I usually don't leave reviews, but Daisy did an amazing job! She was very helpful, made sure I got the haircut that I wanted by asking me multiple questions to make sure she was doing it right. I left feeling confident about my hair - and that's a great sign. All in all, definitely will be going back - I'm sold!

Moved to the area a year ago but kept going to my regular barber in San Francisco as i couldn't find a good barber. Thought i'd try Daisy as most of the reviews were very good.
Daisy is a great lady and cut my hair perfectly. She has a regular customer in me from now on.

Awful hair cut today at University hair care. Totally messed up my hair line behind my ear and acted like nothing happened. One side looks like an outline of my entire ear and the other has a line shaved into it half way up the side of my head. Second bad hair cut from this place I will not be going back.

University Hair Care is a fantastic place to get a great hair cut at a very reasonable price. Daisy has done a very good job each time I have been there and is quite friendly. You can usually get an appointment on fairly short notice if you call ahead, and they take card for payment which is a plus.
