Eric has over 8 years of experience in the cosmetology industry. Eric is a master in the use of color and cutting techniques on many textures and lengths of the hair. He understands the use of color and how it compliments his individual client s skin tone and eye color. Eric is a constant perfectionist when it comes to cutting hair.
Rosy does my hair here. She is GREAT at doing hair. She takes her time, doesn't rush the job and is very genuine and honest. She lightens/highlights my hair/tones/washes/trims it. It isn't cheap but it ISN'T too expensive AND WORTH IT to go to her and get your hair done. I look way better then I did and was worked on for HOURS in good conversation and in loving hands.

Eric Tran use to do my hair 8 yrs ago before I moved to Sacramento. I got tired of the stylists around here just not getting my hair right! Eric's haircuts are a work of art, and they grow out better than any cut I've ever had. After I got my vaccine, Eric was my first call, and he soon got my shaggy pandemic hair back into shape. I found Eric on Yelp and have been coming here for almost 6 years, so this review is long overdue. Eric, you are the very best!

Eric has magic in his scissors. I had been going to him for several years prior to the lock down. He is now back and provides a safe salon for all your hair needs. He only works on one person at a time in the salon and he keeps the door open so the space is well ventilated. Eric gives an excellent haircut. I highly recommend. ☆☆☆☆☆

Eric Trans is a wonderful stylist. Super Professional with a Super Clean Salon. To maintain customer satisfaction and keep the clients safe during the pandemic. I had to schedule an appointment 3 weeks in advance. I waited patiently and well worth the wait. I required more than just a hair cut and Eric explained the process. And I received more than just a hair cut. 5 Plus Stars for Modern Family Hair Salon. Keep up the great work.

This has been my place for the past few years and Eric is the best! Always professional and happy to accommodate my crazy travel schedule. A comfortable environment conveniently located. They carry a nice line of hair products too, found the only conditioner that can handle my tangles. Eric is also great at fixing someone else's bad job when I've gotten trims while I was out of town...I'm never going anywhere else!!

Unfortunately I had to walk out w/o getting a cut.
Arrived early and was pointed to some uncomfortable chairs in the far corner under a water cooler. Not to mention water dripping on the floor from the pipes above. (Gross!) No one came to let me know they knew I was there. Much less, no offer of a drink or anything. However people were reaching over me to refill their water. Whatever. Far less comfortable than other places I had been but ok. The kicker was 25 minutes had past and it was now 15 minutes past my appointment. Nobody came to give me an update or any reason why they were running late

I’ve been going to Eric for about 5 years now, and he’s unquestionably the best hair colorist and stylist I’ve ever had! He really listens to his clients’ concerns and wishes, and offers good advice and creative solutions. I’ve presented him with some special challenges over the years (first hair that was falling out from chemotherapy, then growing back very wavy, then losing the wave and changing texture). He dealt with all of it and gave me great cuts and styles every time. He’s also given me some good tips about styling my own hair.

Eric is a 10 star hairdresser...truly. After a year with him, I'm delighted with the changes he's made with my hair, including texture, highlights, cut and styling. He prompted me to grow out the bangs I've had my entire life, with great results! Watching him blow my hair dry, I learned some new easy-to-use techniques.

Went for my first time, and I think I'm a devotee now. Eric so clearly knows what he's doing and I felt like I could totally trust him with my super thin hair. Watching him work was delightful- so steezy. He explained how certain cuts/techniques make my hair look and he taught me how to style it, too. Lovely laid back salon. I'll be back.

First time I've been here and I'm definitely coming back! Most important, I love my haircut and highlights! Eric did a fantastic job on my hair. But besides that, he's such a charming, enthusiastic, and fun person. He was also very patient with me and my daughter - I had to bring my 3 month old with me and he was amazing with her. He held her, sang to her, made her smile, and enabled me to nurse her quietly and privately in his salon. It was challenging to have her there but Eric made it seem like it was it was totally fine that she's there and sometimes crying. For his personality

What a beautiful hair I got? Eric, you're the best. My hair from super long to super short, he is very detailed. He us an amazing stylist. He's a genius at color that is at once striking and natural and understand layering. He chose a very nice color for my skin. He've worked with hair over 10 years so I highly recommend to everyone.

I just had an ombre combination bayalage process today and love the results. Eric was very thoughtful in calling me the minute something in his schedule opened up as he was booked for two straight weeks and I needed to have my hair done by this weekend.

I came here a couple days ago to get a haircut and dye. Eric was super patient with me when we discussed what sort of hair I wanted. It was near the end of the day but he didnt rush the process and took his time. We ended up spending 3 hours for it and it turned out AMAZING. He lightened up my hair and we were able to make it into an ombre look (so my roots wouldnt look all jank). I came to school the next day and my students FREAKED out at how awesome my hair was. And...you know you can trust a kids blunt honesty. Thank you so much Eric. I love it!!!

As long as I live in northern California, I will never trust my hair with anyone other than Eric. He is honest and professional with his consultations, skillful with his hands, and genuinely kind and sweet. Whenever I go in, my hair looks a mess, but after a few hours in the chair, I feel totally transformed.

All I can say is WOW! I absolutely loooove my haircut and I'm the type of person that normally shies away from any salon (call it love of my long hair or intimidation of being pressured to buy tons of product). For the first time in my life, I'm excited to go back in and get another haircut just to see how awesome I can look :) hehe.
I could go on about this forever, but basically Eric is just fantastic-- he's incredibly skilled at the styling AND the one-on-one communication. Don't book an appointment anywhere else! Also, tip well-- prices are totally affordable.

I am not from the area but found myself on an extended business trip (two weeks turned into 3 months!) and desperately needed a cut. What to do???? It is so hard to find a good hairdresser and always nerve wracking.
Well I tried Yelp and found Eric! He was so helpful and did a wonderful cut. I could not be happier. In fact, I am making an appointment for my next cut with him rather than seeing my regular hairdresser in Southern Cali!
