Services
Arthur Horinek has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University. This is in addition to over 25 years of experience in both engineering and real estate investment. Ohio has recently passed a law requiring licensing for home inspectors. Arthur has completed the required training, passed the National Home Inspector Exam (NHIE) and have received an Ohio Home Inspector License (License #OHI.2019004079).

Termite inspections are regulated and part of a Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) inspection. Art did an amazing and thorough job on our home inspection. The house is almost 100 years old, and he was able to find and explain all the various changes that have happened (or not happened) to the house over that time, as well as things that need to be updated or should have been done differently. He answered all our questions and explained things in understandable terms; we feel much better informed about what we are buying.

Art did my pre-purchase home inspection he is vary thorough and does a good job inspecting homes gives you a clean report so you know exactly what’s going on, if I needed another inspection I would definitely use deep dive inspection it might be a little more expensive than somebody else but it’s well worth the money.

Art performed a general pre-purchase home inspection for me, along with special inspection for wood-destroying insects. He also coordinated to have radon testing completed. I called Art last fall when we first signed our contract to build. He was extremely friendly, patient with all my questions, and explained his process. We had a fantastic experience with Art as our home inspector. As first time buyers, my husband and I had lots of questions and uncertainties which Art was happy to address. We walked with him on the inspection and he was transparent with his process and explanations. In his report, we appreciated the personalized comments he put next to all of the things he flagged, along with recommendations for how to remedy the issue. He was very punctual (we met him at the house right on time and he was already waiting for us), polite, and it was clear that he cares about his clients and their safety and happiness

Art was wonderful to work with. He answered all of our questions and nothing felt rushed. He made us feel comfortable asking and was transparent with what he was able to do legally. The only thing was that a termite inspection costs more and I felt like it should have been included since all damage mentioned was visible and because of legal issues he couldn't look in places that may have had more damage (I do say this not knowing all he had to do before we got there). Overall great inspection that allowed us to lower the price of the house we were buying.
