Why is radon testing important? Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that can cause lung cancer. You can't see or smell radon. Testing is the only way to know your level of exposure. Radon gas can be found in just about anywhere, especially in Franklin and surrounding counties which are noted as "Zone 1" by the EPA for having predicted average indoor radon screening levels higher than normal.

Scheduling was super quick and easy. Josh was right on time. I was running behind and he waited for me and was extremely polite and professional through the whole inspection. You can tell he takes pride in his work. He gave recommendations and suggestions for vendors we could use for the work we needed done. Would definitely recommend By-lions and would use again!

I could not have been happier with the inspection done by Josh! He was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and went above and beyond checking everything in the house. Josh was extremely thorough and meticulous, and took great pictures and notes for all areas of the inspection. He sent a super detailed report after the inspection was completed. I'm a first-time home buyer, so I had a lot of questions. Josh took the time to answer all my questions and walked us through everything he inspected. He encouraged us follow up with him if we need any repairman recommendations. I was completely satisfied with the service Josh provided and would highly recommend him!

I used By-Lions Home Inspection twice during my family’s housing search. My experience has been outstanding. Josh is very professional, friendly, thorough, and clearly knowledgeable. Went with By-Lions for first-time home buying and was not disappointed. Even though I submitted the request form on a Sunday morning, Josh called me right away to get more information and confirm time. On the day of the inspection, Josh was professional, friendly, and very thorough with what he had taken note of. All reports (including wood destroying insects and radon) were sent to me within 24 hours and inspection report was equally thorough (29 pages!) with many pictures and no surprises. Great experience overall!
