Savor is a hidden gem. The food and service were both outstanding. I had a fantastic piece of salmon and my husband had homemade rigatoni vodka that surpassed expectations. Even the bread and desserts were freshly baked. Ambience is great and not too noisy. My only complaint is that reservations every day are only at 5, 5:30, 7:30 and 8 and I feel like those are all a bit too early or late for my preference.

Food was fresh and delicious, service was also very good. There a several very good restaurants downtown Somerville so it's the little things that set them apart from each other. Savor was aware it was our anniversary and sent the desert with the (pictured) message. We would have been repeat customers because of the food quality and atmosphere, but will move Savor close to the top of the list for the extra little steps they took to make it a wonderful dining experience.

My friends and I went to Savor a few weeks ago and I ordered mushroom ravioli and I did not like it. It didn't look appetizing and tasted mediocre and I didn't finish it. The waiter we had came over when we first sat down and then was hard to track down to get refills on water, get bread for the table and get the check.

Last Saturday morning I arrived at Savor only to find that they were closed for a private event. I went there with my sons and wife to celebrate her birthday. I checked their Web site to see when they opened; it showed an 11:30 opening, but no mention of being closed for a private event. I even called at 10:30 am to verify their opening, but no one answered. To add insult to injury, when I challenged the hostess that their Web site showed that they were open, she responded that there was a sign posted in front of the restaurant. I live near Princeton; how was I to know that?

Nice upscale place. Sat outside for lunch on a warm sunny day. The salads were very good. Crab cakes and burgers were ok. Portion size was decent; prices a little high. Thought the service was very good. There's metered street parking on a busy street. If you want to walk a few blocks, little easier plus municipal lots.

This past Sunday I had my bridal shower at Savor and I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant! After having to postpone my shower from last year, they made the process so incredibly painless and smooth. Every question we had (and we had a lot!) they were extremely informative and easy to work with. Everyone at the party raved about the delicious food and talked about how attentive the staff was. The day could not have gone better and after a very stressful year, this was the perfect day I had been waiting for! Thank you so much Savor!

Had lunch here on Friday. The menu was interesting and the 3 of us shared dishes. The artichoke francese was excellent with a wonderful lemon butter sauce. That made the bread which was very good doubly delicious
The wild mushroom ravioli in Marsala was very good. But the star of the show was a fusilli dish. Desserts were very good
That it is a BYOB makes it even more attractive

Safe dining indoors or outside. Classy place and romantic. Started off with a superb Maryland crab cake appetizer. Entrees we enjoyed we're Lobster raviolis with a sausage mushroom cream sauce that totally satisfied the pallet, and rack of lamb over richly flavored mushroom heavy on a bed of rice. Delightful evening experience. Parking on Sundays in city lots are free. Walking distance 0.5k or 2/10 mi.

We found ourselves in Somerville for a few hours and decided to have lunch. There were many choices and most had ample outdoor seating. After walking a few blocks and reading menus posted by most of the restaurants we decided on Savor.
I started with the French onion soup which was fantastic. This is a soup that I automatically order from any restaurant that has it on the menu and I must say that this is one of the best I've tried.
My wife ordered the roasted pear salad with pecans, feta, spinach and grape tomatoes in a white wine vinaigrette. It was very good and a nice portion.

Stumbled upon Savor for lunch and after checking out their menu, decided to eat here for its reasonable prices and decent Italian/American options.
Pictures here are the pasta carbonara without peas and orecchiette with sausage, which were $11 and $13 respectively. Also ordered an iced tea for $3. The orecchiette was a bit too soft for my taste and the sauce slightly watery so I'd recommend the carbonara
Overall, this is a solid and cozy BYOB spot for outdoor dining in downtown Somerville. The service was great!

Service by Ronald was superior to the food and decor.
I added baked cod to a roasted beet goat cheese salad. The cod was very fresh and the lemon butter sauce was tasty, but the texture of the cod was odd. I suspect the cod was slightly undercooked. The goat cheese and roasted beets were ordinary, nothing exciting or special, no interesting spices, herbs or garnishes.
I enjoyed the unsweetened iced tea.
My favorite dish was the apple cheese cake. A very large portion, which I didn't finish. It had pieces of apple that

When our original plan for lunch at a different restaurant didn't work out (because of flooding issues), we walked around to see where else we could dine at. Not familiar with the area, we were surprised that most places didn't open until noon. Upon walking up to this restaurant's pretty yellow facade, we checked out their menu posted outside which served Italian & American cuisine. The items sounded good.
From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, service was outstanding, friendly and professional.

Came for a surprise birthday lunch with family and we were served well by Stewart. We brought our own wine, which he opened and poured for us. I got the roasted pear salad with the feta and pecans--it was amazing, excellent flavor...and I also got the gnocchi pesto which I was also pleased with! Considering the quality of the wait staff and the fact that we were not rushed through our meal, I would absolutely come again. The prices/ portions we're also reasonable. :)
