Acapulco
Creating a new take on regionally-influenced Mexican cuisine, the menu aims to showcase a diversity of dishes from across the country. Acapulco emphasis on keeping our menu rooted in authentic Mexican cooking and techniques is expressed through items like fresh hand-pressed tortillas crafted with heirloom corn, house-made crema, and queso fresco, as well as spicy chorizo made on site.

The beverage program incorporates Mexican flavors with seasonal ingredients, and cocktails by Tamer Hamawi include tequila and mezcal by small-batch and artisan distillers. Acapulco brings the party to you! If you crave the Acapulco taste but can't make it to the restaurant, our catering service can deliver your order to your home or the venue of your choice, catered to your exact specifications.

2 stars because the food is good but each time i come to pick up an order they never have it started and forget about online orders. Then have to wait a longer wait time.

We were just there at 650 pm and walked out. The waitress had a nasty attitude just trying to get a seat. We have been there before and had a pleasant experience but the seasoned waitress did not want to be bothered. Leaving this review hoping you hire people who want to work.

This used to be a five-star spot for me. I won’t order again. The quality has declined over the last few orders. As a recurring customer I called the manager because I was unhappy with what I believe was the wrong dish arriving or at least to express how the meat they sent in no way resembled flank steak and no salsas were included, he told me I ordered the wrong thing and recommended what to order next time and that I should have gotten 4 salsas with what I ordered but I got none. So I ate the dry salty slow cooked-pulled meat product they call flank steak (see pics) which looks like carnitas

Solid place for authentic tacos and Burritos. Love the Burrito mole and the chorizo tacos! The portions are fairly large, so definitely come hungry!

Odered take out vegetarian for change. Dissapointing, food was lacking taste or flavor or tang. Not even salsa provided with it. Absolutely no seasoning to any of the items. Doesn't need to be spicy but flavored sesoning. Most veg dishes contain refried beans, totally no seasoning. Many dishes I ordered contained cheese but was way too much cheese. Absolutely tasteless food with exception of one dish Esquites, corn appetizer was tasty and delicious. Taco bell or Moes food 100% better than this food. For the money spent not worth ordering from here. Had better mexican Restaurant food. Miss Sol Mexicana

The salsa verde in the enchiladas was nice but unfortunately everything else was very dry and very bland. Appeared to rely heavily on frozen mix / canned foods heated up with virtually no additional seasoning or prep. It took a long time for our small simple order to be prepared, but we did order during dinner on a Sunday so I guess they are just slow during peak hours. Sorry- just not the quality I expect from restaurant food.

This was my go to place. Emphasis on WAS…Tonight one of the more seasoned waitress (our waitress who served us was kind but new and asked others for approval) didn’t like us choosing a booth or own seating and then we were guided to a small table that can only fit 4 people but we were 6. The table could have hardly fit us and our potential order. The waitresses kept making snide remarks like you cant sit here it is only for 10 people but there were only 5 people there currently . She had a hint of hatred toward us and kept talking about us to our waitress. Totally bogus service. We had to get

Food was delicious, the only downside was they gave us a small portion of everything. The rice was not even 1 cup and the way they served the rice and beans in one container was just wrong. The price is slightly expensive than other mexican restaurants.

I live out of town but was visiting nearby and decided to order from here, on two different occasions, on GrubHub. Let's say that their food is superb! The guacamole 🥑 is so fresh so make sure you order some. On both occasions I ordered "La Tabla" and let me say... Its the reason i ordered twice! The steak is cooked to perfection! There was a slight mixup in my order, but the manager Pedro went above and beyond to rectify the situation. I will surely order from here again when I visit the area. 10/10 recommend if you love authentic and fresh food.

Apparently you can't order a mix of different Tacos anymore. We go here all the time. Never had a problem. Today we order, and they say we need to order 3 tacos of a specific protein. We can no longer mix and match. I will update if the owner reaches out .

As a random choice for lunch while in jersey with my wife, I choose Acapulco and I'm glad I did. Fresh, good ingredients, and decent price. We a few tacos and shared a nacho. Very good. Even a slice of "choco flan" yes a dense piece of chocolate cake topped with flan. Again very good. Definitely will be back. Maybe a Marg next time.

This place is so good!

Only ever got delivery before (everything's always hot and packed up very nicely), but then I realized they have a bar too so I had to do a trip.

Perfect margaritas, perfect tacos, perfect nachos. The best happy hour spot I could possibly imagine.

If you aren't sure which meat to choose, get the spicy pork (carne enchilada)

I went here the other day and got the bistec and cebollas (steak and onion) sandwich. It was so good, I came back the next day with my boyfriend for dinner. Food was amazing! He got the pollo relleno and I got the bistec ranchero. Sooo good.

Not good. Wanted authentic - this wasn't it. Waited almost 15 minutes before anyone even realized I was sitting at the bar. Service was extremely slow and food was even slower. Odd considering I was like the only person in the place for almost 30 minutes. Fajitas tasted very plain and margarita wasn't good at all. Should've went to Taco Bell.

Carnitas and Chorizo tacos are a win every time. They could just sell those and be ok, but no, they entice our tastebuds with so much more! We came here often before moving to NC and couldn’t wait to visit again. The food is flavorful and fresh, good selection of drinks as well, and it’s got a vibrant atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit or 5.

Excellent Mexican restaurant and bar located in Raritan, NJ. The inside contains a well-decorated, festive dining area with considerable space for seating. Though social distancing was not particularly well-maintained between various parties eating in the restaurant, the staff took care to wear masks the entire meal. The menu offers a large variety of options for whatever food or beverage you are craving. The food itself is delicious. Portions are sizable, and it's hard to imagine anyone leaves the restaurant not full or without leftovers. The food tasted fresh and flavorful. The service was

Worst carne asada ever; totally inedible leather strips. Burrito was ok but lacked mexican flavor. Wife's enchiladas were cold on the inside. We keep trying because it's local but I probably won't ever order from here again.

I am giving Acapulco a low rating not because of the food. The food here is generally quite good. But takeout Mexican food doesn't do it for us. So we decided to eat in tonight. We called before going to make sure it was possible. We were seated near a big party which was DEFINITELY less than 6 feet away from our table. For the hour and a half we were there that group was loud, never had a mask on any of them, and a few of them proceeded to walk around the place with no masks on. That is simply not acceptable at this time. So we shall not be back for a long time. I complained to

Really enjoyed my first visit to Acapulco. It was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The Pollo Relleno was delicious with a nice rising heat. Friendly service from Evelyn, cold Corona beer, an authentically decorated dining room, and festive Cumbia music. Honestly felt like I was on vacation!

5-Stars, can't wait to return!

This was much bigger than it appeared from the outside. The kitchen was in the front and a dining area towards the back. The order was picked up and ready upon arrival. They had lots of options ranging from tacos to pizza to burgers with reasonable pricing.

For starters, the guacamole ($6.95) and the queso fundido con chorizo ($9.45) was ordered. The guacamole was fresh and came with what appeared to be homemade chips, very appetizing. The chorizo came with onions in a chipotle sauce with tomatoes along with cheddar and Oaxaca cheese. I was hoping this would have a more of a kick to it,

Great place to get traditional Mexican food! Strip mall located right off the highway. There is a great vibe here with Latin music playing and beautiful decor on the walls and hanging from the ceiling.

Their drink menu is large and they have tons of flavored margaritas (regular or frozen, or you can get a pitcher of any flavor for only $29!). They also have a ton of options on their menu - plenty of appetizers, entrees, and specials to pick from. Both Kevin and I ordered tacos (I got fish and he got chicken).

Positives: they give you double layers on the soft tacos, which makes them easier to

My fiancé and I FINALLY got around to trying this place out after hearing good things (and it's only 10 mins away from us on 202). The unassuming exterior may lead you to believe it's nothing but a small takeout joint (especially if you enter via the left door), but the door on the right will bring you into a nice sit-down space with legit tables and a full bar - complete with TVs!

We decided to sit at the bar and started with margaritas (we opted for the 1800 silver tequila which is one of my favs). They were a bit on the sweet side but delicious.

Because my fiancée had never tried

Based on such high ratings, we went to Acapulco on Thompson Street in Raritan. It is located in a small strip center on Thompson Street adjacent to Route 202 and has it's own tiny off street parking lot. The small lounge/restaurant was busy as was the kitchen with takeout orders. The dark painted room had many televisions tuned to soccer. We were instructed to sit where ever we liked and soon had dos cervazas, tortilla chips with bean sauce and menus.

The servers reminded me of a favorite cartoon I watched as a child. It was called Ricochet Rabbit. Sheriff Ricochet had a heavy Mexican
